The needle was at the limit, but crytek found the needle was stuck and actually much lower. But it's fixed now and they are running on full steam.

Problem with PS3/360 versions of crysis 2, there were parts of the game that lagged stupidly for what was going on at the time.
I'm guessing crysis 3 will look slightly better, because it's better optimised and has better artwork, hopefully it'll be locked 30fps on console.
Rez isn't everything, but it can make a game look better.
Played the beta, character was fine, who cares about the colour, but the game itself, graphics were nice, but gameplay was abit boring, first game was better imo.

The spu's are still cores, just cores with simplified instruction code.
Even so, spu's are more like a dx11 gpu.

UC3 - Textures, lighting - animation - subtle fx - shaders.
I think both games pulled off what they intended to show.
