The only reason the PS3 has an install is because it would load slower then the 360 version.
You could run anygame off the disc, don't know why they bother, a few secs here and there. Should always be optional.

I mainly play BF3 on PC. 64players on a large scale battle is amazing.
But for all else, there is COD.
Only comes down to a couple of things.
Price and advertising.
You have to create the buzz, it's the next best thing.

You cannot magically make everygame run exactly at 60fps unless your pulling over 60fps every frame and sync it.
