I'm not naive, if I do get this game for PS4, it needs to come close and run smooth.
I'm about 3 hours in, it's coming together at about the same pace as when I started tbh.

described the style and story as blade runner meets cowboy bebop? Damn, I was sold before, but hell yeah.
It's gonna keep happening. Games are bigger than they ever were, and more light is being shinned upon the industries long history of questionable representation and subject matter. Games are maturing, you can't complain that people are taking issue with things but then still get mad when games aren't being taken serious or understood for their cultural value.
Now fix...the entire AI systems. Terrible pass pathing, buffonish players doing the stupidest things (running for a ball out of bounds when no one else is and it's going to be your ball), reverse layups that will always end up shooting on the opposite side of the backboard (Therefore out of bounds), rebouding frames. Unlike Fifa, which has it's gameplay mechanics nearly pitch perfect, 2K has a lot of work.
That cover just gives me bad vibes. The same way Far Cry 3's "white saviour complex" gave me vibes. The dude that wrote FC3 also wrote child of Light and the writing is the worst thing about that game. I don't know how he still has a job writing game stories and dialogue because he's terrible at it.

Honestly, this is all getting so bloated. Ubisoft has totally botched the launch of watch dogs. I hope it does well though, so watch dogs 2 doesn't have to go through this, but man ubisoft is becoming public enemy #1 with the way the constatnly get in the of their own games.
Crytek smh. You've been saying the exact same things for at least 4 years and quite frankly your games have been average since the first crysis.

I cancelled my pre-order yesterday,got a $50 psn card and put the rest on my destiny pre-order. With Transistor out next week and hohokum, and helldivers out likely next month, I feel like my decision is looking better everytime I look at this game now.
I almost can't believe considering the hot mess that is its pre-release journey.
This preview is clearly from the media blowout that showed a bunch of new material. Taken within that context it is one of many previews that played the same build. A mostly positive reception from many outlets I might add, but not absolutely glowing either.
This isn't even recent preview.
This is an amazing article for 2 reasons:
1-these shoots are so amazingly compressed it's comical.
2-the charge aganist this game is made by some who hasn't played it.
3-There are so many early reports going both ways we really can't say anything until the game is out in more hands (this weekend, but a lot of accounts).
