I'm not sure. Old Russia is pretty big, and we haven't seen all of it. given that we know there seems to be earth, moon, mars, venus, the reef, if they are all more or less the same size, I don't think it's that big a deal. But we'll have to see.
I do agree with this complaint. there should be more ability to communicate. Proximity chat would do well to help communication and the ability to just shut if off when you don't want it. It's not a deal breaker, but it should be in there.
"People are complaining at the possibility of the lack of content after the beta even though most people had fun and spent hours and hours in the original beta anyway."
good grief. And it's not an MMO, Bungie has been pretty clear that they're taking influences including MMO standbys, but it isn't an MMO. When the game comes out, people will still get upset that it isn't big as an mmo.
Deep Down being an actual game is a necessary risk for Capcom.
September's NPD will be intresting.
That title is disingenuous.
I'm just saddened. I don't have work today, so I'm just sitting around looking for any new crap of Destiny info. Man 9/9 is faaaaaaaar
Backlash to a Beta.
We truly have come far as an industry.
This is a pretty laughable preview. IT IS A BETA NOT THE FULL GAME. Why would they just upfront half the content before the game actually drops. Second of all, why on earth would Bungie just drop the classic mechanics that helped reinvent the shooter? the mechanics that have proven to be classic bedrock time and time again? There's so much whining about level caps, and the lack of new content it's almost comical. Wait until the full game drops.
Everyone is scrambling out of that day of death.
Yup.
I think Destiny is the best time this year to make the leap, because after destiny there will be even more cross gen games that simply falter on old gen like DA:Inquisition, Shadow of Mordor, Far Cry 4, Advanced Warfare, etc.
How did you beat me to it?
I was going to say that. It's pretty damn long and the puzzles are the sweet spot between challenging and intuitive.
I thought that said Will.i.am. I got incredibly scared for a second. Idk, Pharrell is a really good producer and always has been since the NERD days. His new solo stuff is kinda weak, but he has a good ear for production.
I've put 11 hours into the first run of the game. I don't understand how that isn't well worth the asking price. Even if the game was 5 hours, the design is so phenomenal there is 0% filler.
That is crazy.
Well, I have my copy pre-ordered so we'll see. I have high hopes, I've championing for a while, if anyone can get a fresh multiplayer experience right it's turtle rock as they've done it twice.
i really dont care about ubisoft's games anymore.
what?
I have been saying since its game informer reveal this game was going to be a big thing this year.
I was right.
Ifeel like shared world shooter really is the best description for the game. Despite sounding like a total buzzword, it really is evocative of what Destiny is, a set of semi-sprawling worlds with a firm emphasis on mechanics, co-op and personal progression.
