Yes, there are low expectation for the ps4 in particular. Media molecule, Guerilla Games, Sony Santa Monica and Studio Bend are no shows. There is no hint of any new worthwhile games being anounced, and even less chance of any new games added to their driveclub only fall. Pretty low. I want to be wrong, as I bought a PS4 and I believe in sony but that's getting hard with Sony not even attempting to get people hype.
The term "next-gen" is snake oil. Gaming press have been clamoring for something that feels next-gen, I have played stuff on my ps4 and felt a different sensation altogther from the last gen. Next-gen gameplay is a buzz word.
Burnout Paradise sequel and E3 is entirely justified.

I love my PS4. To the disagrees, I would like for you to name at least 5 exclusives for the fall that have a rock solid release window.
Sony's biggest problem is a bone dry fall 2014.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS. Hyperbole yes, but seriously there are less than 5, AND THAT IS INCLUDING FIRST AND THIRD PARTY. I'm really starting to question my PS4 purchase.
There are many reasons:
-The fixation on the graphics from a 2012 tech demo (even though we knew from it's showing last E3 it didn't look as good)
- Sub-1080p Resolutions for next-gen
-ubisoft's DLC onslaught
-The imagination people placed on to the game in spite of what it actually was (an action game facilitated by hacking as a tool of agency flavoring open world gameplay, not a comprehensive realization of cool hacking for videogames lik...

The best thing about the game is when you step away from the campaign. damn near everything is better mechanically and more immersive because you can roleplay without the main missions forcing you into the occasional GTA moments even though it has so much more gameplay potential (eg, hideouts, invasions, decrpytion, walking down the street).
WD is a better game altogether.

Man, Nintendo has notoriously struggled with 3rd party but the Wiiu seems to be a new low in that regard sadly.
Youtube is gaming's greatest curse this generation. Compression is the enemy of high resolution.
