Skyrim vs Skyward Sword for Goty, wouldn't be to surprised.
SS is one of the best looking games, from a visual standpoint, this year.
I feel this game gets more credit than i desrves in terms of originality. Realistically, Dark Souls just returns to the NES difficulty curve which was largely created becasue certain games were broken to begin with. The said Dark Souls is still a great RPG,it's just not the revolution some claim it is.
Fallout 3 was the official GOTY (gamecritics) of 2008 with a metacritic of 2008. That year had LBP(95 meta), GTA IV (98 meta) and MGS4 (94 meta). As long as a meta score is in the 90s, a game can win goty.
It had some flaws, mainly some noticeable video game contrivances, but every memorable game has flaws.
Personally, I think Skyrim is all you need.
Uncharted 3, by all merits of what makes a good game is phenomenal. Seriously we need to remove scores so these "jim sterlian" can't just throw random numbers around.
They've played skyrim and skyward sword already.
I feel people don't give MS enough props. This is only their second console and their first console bombed. Nintendo has had several consoles the new the market in and out and this is sony's third successful console. MS did a superb job this gen despite that fact that blind fanboys will disagree.
I haven't played Skyrim yet so I can't say. so far Batman is goty to me.
I respect square enix. Unlike capcom, they make mistakes and learn from them.
*without the context*
It was sadly. To me it was a rushed game that EA sabotaged at every turn and stunted its potential.
I agree. There's hundreds of hours in this game. How says I'll even need to get dlc? People act like Bethesda is selling incomplete games because they make new content after it is released.
"I guess so" is a really anemic answer. Tbh, Bethesda games aren't really about heavy melee combat. For that matter look at Fallout 3, that games combat looked like crap when you just watch it with the context of having played. It's the immersion of Bethesda's games that are the most important.
Skyrim's combat looks fine to me, lots of potential for variation due to the ability to duel wield things.
Wildly? Let's not get carried away here.
It's a game largely based around shooting, where the shooting isn't accurate. Considering its pedigree, such a fundamental flaw is pretty bad. Sucks for those who have that problem, and for that matter, the fact that it is only happening to certain people as just weird.
3 disagrees?
Do you have eyes?
Damn, that's pretty horrendous.
This is just dumb. I appreciate it's light tone, it's not serious but it's still dumb.
I meant 93 haha.
