I just want retro city rampage.
If it gets delayed one more time, I swear all my momentum for it will be gone this time.
THe real sad thing is that this was actually a cool concept; explorer the umbrella corp side of things as an agent.
But it's clear capcom got insanely lazy. They got slant six to develop it, nuff said.
I think it's head for a cancellation at this point.
It's time to really blow people away has passed, unless they move onto wiiu or next gen consoles.
Trials itself is nearly a decade old.
But this game couldn't reek anymore of trials if it tried.
Between this, sony battle royal, and LBP kart racing, Sony just seems content on ripping off other ideas. Nothing wrong with inspiration, but these games are cutting it too close.
Another swing and a miss.
Minecraft needs to just wrap the arcade next promotion.
Trials Evo was more than enough.
I can see that actually.
Tecmo, this is how you make multiplayer action game look interesting.
The secret weapon of Trials Evolution is the humor. the soundtrack is horrible, the rider is mutilated in the most sadistically humorous ways, and the finale of levels are so beyond dumb, silly and unnecessary, that I have laughed for 5 good minutes at them.
Oh by the way Yi, I did end up selling my Street Fighter x Tekken a few weeks ago for mass effect 1 and a points card to get trials. You probably don't remember suggesting that, but you did. So, thank you.
I missed out on trials back in 09 ans got shadow complex instead.I always wanted to play it, so when they announced evolution, I was ready. My first hour with Evolution was pretty decent. But, when I started ghost attacking, then's when the game went to a whole neither level. Ghost attacking in that game makes you realize the true nuance of the gameplay despite how simple it seems. I dig evolution.
Longetivity 7.5?
Really?
I beat the main path. Some of the puzzles are way over my head, but I still find their complexity admirable in this day and age. 2d/3d may have been done before, but not like this and to this games extent. I put like 7 hours into the main game, and found just discovering new areas and the 2d/3d traversal well worth my time.
I had some bugs and they should be fixed. But overall (having just beat the game), I think Fez is an excellent game. If anything, it's biggest problem is that some puzzles are a little too obtuse ( THAT F****** TOLL BELL), but that's really the best substantial problem to have I guess. Better some parts of it be Castlevania II-esque in their difficulty, than be as easy as Ninja Gaiden III.
One thing I must warn you, don't be fooled by the games cuteness. Straight hardcore puzzles lurk around in here, make things in braid look like nothing.
In other news, pizza is edible.
It blows my mind that this game is literally 3d and 2d at the time.
The backgrounds are literally polygons.
Like seriously. What were they thinking with slant six?
It amazes me how a company so engrained into video game culture can become so out of touch with it.
I've heard this game is obtuse like, old school obtuse. Some comparing it to Dark Souls and Castlevania II. I don't think it will be for everyone. But I'm only more excited.
I think some people are taking his comments out of proportion and context. Not only did he apologize to the japanese developer in question, he clarified his statement which was largely in regards to modern japanese games. I think claiming all modern japanese games suck was still a bit much "you got companies like NIS and Atlus still doing good things) but largely there has been a lack of vison or excitement from companies like capcom, tecmo, konami etc.
So I do agree wit...
Is it an MMO?
Then no, it can't be more successful.
