Yes, I still say meh. When I get a 3D tv, it's going to be 1080p as I'm still going to be using for other things such as non 3D 1080p Blu ray, games, etc, etc.

I had only planned on getting GT5 but I just couldn't resist picking up NFS for $35 on black friday.
Haven't had the chance to play NFS yet, but I'm having a blast with GT5!
Did you just say component cables are just as good as HDMI? Wow, I'm not even sure what to say or where to start.

GT5 is so good that even the PC fanboys are coming out to talk trash. Thats pretty impressive.

OMG, the Tower of Latria was epic. But it's one level where the online integration hints comes in handy with all the sudden drop offs and such.
And engrossed and nervous is an excellent way to describe Demon's Souls. good stuff.
It's definitely hard but not too hard. It's trial and error, you need to figure out how each opponent operates and how to successfully defeat said enemy. It's very difficult but very rewarding, definitely worth checking out if you have an open mind.
For me Demon's Souls is the best game this gen...period.

I also can't justify buying another racer along side GT5 even though NFS is shaping up to be a solid game. Also, time is an issue for me. I'm busy enough juggling New Vegas and COD BO at the moment.
BTW, I love Amazon. I have $50 of credit so I'm getting GT5 for $10, and then they're giving me $10 for GT5 pre-order!!!
Wonder if I should cancel my NFS pre-order.

You're talking to a guy that dropped $3000 on a 52" Sony Bravia XBR4 3 years ago and $900 on a 40" Samsung for my basement man cave a year ago.
