There were agreements probably in place prior to MS purchasing the company... When Minecraft 2 is eventually announced it will be for the following formats:
iOS
Android
Windows
Windows Phone
MAC
Xbox platforms
-------------------------
I seriously doubt the next big Minecraft release will be released on Sony Platforms...well... Maybe the Vita, b/c MS doesn't compete in the hand held market.
The only game I've enjoyed with Kinect 2.0 honestly is the Xbox Fitness game. I think that is the best fitness game and I actually believe given the proper amount of space the Kinect 2.0 actually tracks your movements well. Other than Xbox Fitness I've been very unimpressed.
If something good comes from this team that's awesome... I've got another reason to actually use Kinect... If not? Oh well at least I still use it for Xbox Fitness...
The "Cool" thing to do is hate on halo... I'm not very good nor do I usually play multiplayer online FPS's... But, I am in the Halo 5 beta played some rounds and it seems fine to me.
I'm thinking it's going to get a big E3 reveal with an October/November release date.
I would expect this to be an October/November release... Big holiday title...that would give them plenty of time to refine it..
YEAH... gamers shouldn't have to pay for videogames either. They should all be free after the purchase of the console too!
All MS and Sony can really do is continue to fine tune their cyber defenses and turn over any and all useful data they can gather to the authorities if any can be gathered in these types of hacking attacks.
Arrests would be small in the overall picture, but it's the best MS and Sony can do...
When you start bouncing around from 1 system to another with a quick turn around... It kind of reminds me of how Sega ended up...
**If it is a new Nintendo System**
Really pointless....
EVERY...YES EVERY platform holding company will say they have the best games...
It is up to the gamer to decide which system best suits his/her likes...
Wow... You must like be really intelligent...
But, I don't see anywhere in my comment saying I have.
I said I am skeptical of the big VR push after PS eye and Kinect failed to impress pretty much anyone...
So as of right now... I am SKEPTICAL of the VR movement and doubt I will be partaking in VR gaming on any of the mentioned platforms.
Don't care about Sony's VR gear... Don't care about Oculus Rift and don't care about MS's maybe announcement at E3 VR gear... Color me a skeptic about the Whole "VR" movement...
Can't see myself putting on a VR visor/helmet and playing a game...
meh... this would have been a huge Exclusive 25 years ago... by today's standards nothing big. Nice no doubt... but, groundbreaking announcement.... no. It's also available on PC too...
Who said this is representative to the rest of the world? Tracking Black Friday sales has always been big for the American media and especially for video game consoles and top electronic products.
Most of the rest of the world don't traditionally have black Friday sales. I know right now I'm in Turkey and guess what they don't have black Friday here.
Black Friday sales are always "unsustainable" long term. That's the point of Black Friday sales...
Holy heck... I thought gamers came to this website... I just see a bunch of whiney little faboys...
1. If MS wins holiday shopping it's huge as that might become a trend if MS keeps the price down and bundles up after the holiday sales season allowing them to cut into Sonys overall lead.
2. Of course MS has to cut into Sony's lead, because they F***ed up the Xbox One launch so bad it did quite a bit of brand damage to the Xbox name. One of the worst ...
DO NOT listen to this obviously Bias review.
Sunset Overdrive is a very good game. Is it perfect, not by any means. I would still give it an easy 8/10. I downloaded played it and beat it during it's 24 hrs free retail promotion for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
I like the gameplay it's fresh, fast, fun and addicting. If you try and battle the monsters on the ground like a hack N' Slash you will get killed quickly. Your suppose to take them o...
MS has already made any off the shelf USB 3.0 External HDDs compatible as long as they are larger than 256GB... Simply plug in to your X1 and get an additional however more TB you want pretty much. I don't remember the limit off hand but, I know it's a huge limit you will never reach.
PS4 you can swap HDDs.
So how is it really out of hand? As generations come and go... Yes games overall get larger and more complex as a whole.
So basically the person who wrote this article doesn't have a clue of the behind the scene details of what and why these features were worked out. Price $600...Okay. I'm sure MS came up with that. But, as for region locked consoles, activation codes for games and pretty much anything but the price...The Author has NO CLUE if these are Chinese Government policies or not.
So until Sony announces anything about their launch... This article is totally pointless... Ju...
Wonder if all these dislikes will happen if Sony has to do the same thing... Nope. Then there will be a bunch of people saying $ony has to do it.
The very fact X1 is also region locked makes me think it's Chinese Govt policies. Because, the Chinese Govt. has to approve every game launched in the Country that is why it's region locked, otherwise Chinese could simply import games effectively evading the Govt oversight of games sold in its Country. The X1 is not region ...
Microsoft did not renew the Blinx trademark which effectively ends any chance of a new game. Of course unless years...and years pass by and they try and get the Blinx trade mark again... But, I don't see that happening...
