I don't know what this is all about but my xb1 is miles ahead of the ps4 in functionality. I say buy both but if I had to choose one it would be the Xbox hands down.

It's weird but I got to a point in the Witcher 3 where I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of things to do in the game. I'm a completionist so it really turned me off. but I'm trying to get back into it now.
I think you need to review some of the numbers on Sony's losses over the last 5 years. The PS4 has given them a big boost but they are in serious trouble as a company overall.
It shouldn't be called backwards compatibility then. Because it's not. It's actually half assed remastering without actually changing graphics quality.
Sony will be tits up in 3 years anyway. The only reason it's not going to be 2 years is because of strong ps4 sales. I can see M$ scooping the whole company up at that time for a song. And if the NX is as bad as the Wii U I can see nintendo a year behind Sony but they won't go bankrupt, they will just be a software only company. I really do think this will happen but it will be a damn shame because we REALLY need at least 2 major console gaming companies.
I don't think there is any worry of the franchise dying. It will hopefully change up a bit for the next game but even if not, people will still buy it.

Totally agree! I have both consoles but lately there is nothing to play on my ps4. Any cross platforms I buy on xb1 because I'm an achievement whore. There really isn't much on the ps4 and it's just collecting dust.

The problem is each website has their own rating system out of 10 and they all equal out differently. The only rating system I like is angry Joe's. A five is average, 10 is perfect and I'm assuming 1 is watchdogs.
