Game companies are going to explore any good options when it comes to making money, and both ps and xb are great money making platforms. They have almost the same hardware so development is not an issue.
Oh and Microsoft as a company could buy and sell sony about 17 times over if they wanted to.

Played gears 1 for endless hours splitscreen and online. Just a super great game.
I can't believe people are bitching and moaning now about games being too long. This has to be a joke. I'm sure the main story line in fallout 4 is probably 15-20 hours. People are never happy it seems.

I agree, 4 years will see a new console generation.
Hopefully the exclusives are more like bloodborne and less like the order. A lack of exclusives will eventually catch up to Sony.
I have a backup image pre-install so I don't worry about trying it. It's working very well for me in everything I've done so far so I installed it on my laptop as well. It's better than 8.1 if that's what you're stuck with. And I'd say probably better than 7.

I don't think there is a problem to solve. I own both so it's great that xbox is doing this, but it doesn't bother me that Sony is not. I still have both previous gen consoles if I want to play those old games but I never do.
While I agree an external HDD is just as good the prices are not out of wack!

I agree with you on Netflix but if we do go completely digital we will need the ability to trade and/or sell your digital games. Like a digital ownership system.

Just my opinion but I don't think the console gaming market is large enough in third world countries for gaming companies to give a crap about them. Or anyone else for that matter.
