At this rate who dares bets against even halo coming to the Playstation :D
Anyways, Played this game only recently (about a month ago) and I can honestly say, WTF?! With all the hype I've read from the 360 base about this L4D thing, I found it totally mundane and mediocre. Hell, R2 has an online mode similar and it's just one part of many of the game but here it's the main meal.
Perhaps some in the PS3 may be curious about the title but to me, L4D is certainly a very...
This is why I only support Exclusives I like with full purchase $$. Be it day one or years later. The most I ever do for multiplat games this gen, in support, is to rent the ones I really want to experience. The rest is bargain bin used sales.
Multiplat developers trying are dogging current gen experiences for gamers and this ONE gamer will not encourage it at all.
There is no doubt exclusive games produce glaringly better quality experiences and with the PS3 having ...
Betabox-please-fix-me: Gimp in, Pay beyond.
Ok so you believe that 1)EA would not want to do a port because...? they don't like money? O.o and 2) So without EA no other developer/publishing house could ever ever do it cause we all know EA are the only ones that could do ports to the PS3.
I'll just let this one be cause it's kinda pointless. HL ep3 & HL are going to be on the PS3 so I don't know why I'm even bothering yaking about this.
Well, L4D is a new IP. It's never been on the Playstation so I dont' see the connection to the HL series when HL has a history on the PS for a long time now.
Point is, weather good, bad or horrible port yada yada yada, HL has always been on the Playstation so why on earth would anyone believe ep3 and HL3 won't be on the PS in the future?
It's the same crazy logic with Splinter Cell. All Splinter Cell games have been on the Playstation and the current one is being developed by a top well known Developer/Publisher house that mainly does multiplats but for some reason some actually think SC is a permanent exclusive to the 360. I just don...
When I talk about doing something exclusive on the PS3 I'm referring mainly to a developer pride thing. There are a number of top developers who know their worth and aren't looking for a cash grab but rather put the artistic quality of a game first even though they know, commercially, it maybe a risk but they just want to show their skills.
Sometimes it pays off and other times it doesn't. Valve is such a company. Until recent L4D BS, they've always danced to their own music. Onl...
Dude, first of all this gen isn't even at the half way point yet.. well, not for PS3 gamers anyways and secondly, it's totally baffling how anyone could think HL:ep3 and other HLs may not be on the the PS3.
I mean, with the main core HL story line, how many Half Lives are not on the Playstation? HL1 was on the PS2, HL2 is on the PS3 and other HL's won't be on PS anymore because...? O.o
Oh, don't like playing the sales game when it's not beneficial to you anymore uh? lol
IMO, they've been foolish with the way they've been acting towards the PS3 from the beginning.
Yes Gabe made his millions being a MS executive but damn, that was a while ago and he has his own company now. It's just business. Sure Valve have always worked under their own business model and philosophy and have had great success with it but damn, it's ludicrous the position to stand by in regards to PS3 development.
With the kind of talent Valve has can you imagine wha...
are those #s for real or are you just trying to get under 360fans skin?
Ooo, Dark Void interview, nice. Haven't been to sure about this game and need more info on it.
OP, not too good with English comprehension uh? :P
Killzone3 & Remastered Killzone1 with updated refined control scheme, 1080p Resolution, Trophies, Killzone Universe encyclopedia [video] (kinda like the free MGS4 encyclopedia but in video documentary form) & Helgan key chain.. or something like that.
@ $69-79? Now THAT would be glorious for me. :)
KZ2 released in feb of this year. Obviously there's been no mention of KZ3 releasing in feb of next year so where do you get 1 year from? If anything it's Nov 2010 which would essentially be about 20months which is decent enough time for a sequel.
Actually it would essentially be 2yrs cause KZ2 was ready to be released in Nov. but got pushed further back to give room to Resistance2. So Oct.-Nov. 2010 is great time period for a sequel.
Funny, some naysayers love to us...
Yeah I don't know where he pulled 6hrs from (likely his butt) cause KZ2 even on easy difficulty was a damned beast. If you finished the game on normal and then went on easy setting, you'd feel a bit better but if you jumped in on easy your first go, you'd find many people pausing the game to re-verify it was still on easy difficulty cause KZ2's AI was/is a monster.
The reason you believe that is because the FUD for the game was staggering seeing as how back then it threatened halo and people (NA reviewers) didn't like that and wanted to make sure it died.
You know however that 1) last gen, high end games selling over 250k WW were a success. & 2)Killzone1 sold over 2mill copies. When you consider only 2 other xbox exclusives outside of halo1&2 (PGR1&Fable) did similar numbers to KZ1, that's incredibly impressive for a game that ...
GG deserves to have their game come out in late Oct/Nov to take advantage of the Christmas season. They deserve that.
I strongly believe this game will look to go back to Vekta. It'll likely start off on Helgan with the troops trying to get to escape pods or crafts to get to the mother ships in the skys for a quick retreat to Vekta but with the Helgan army in hot persuit.
This means more of the game will be on Vekta with more flush scenery. Unlike Helgan's barren waste lands, look for the colour palette of KZ3 to go from gray/black/red/brown tones to lush Greens/Whites/Yellows/Purple tones of th...
Now had the game kept the graphical look it was supposed to have back in 2007/2008 then perhaps graphical comparisons maybe warranted but for cell shading? Come on. lol
Great gaming experience regardless.
