The PS3 has upto 3 Sim Racers right now (4 if you included GTHD.. and I mean proper sim, not sim light :P) GT5 is the Grand Daddy of them all and more than worth the wait but don't make it seem as if PS3 gamers are lacking or in need of a sim cause the PS3 has more sim racers on the market today than the any other console.
Go to say though, if after looking at the snipets of GT5, one would have to be a fool to think it doesn't totally out class anything we've seen of current gen ...

They've never really been an issues with in-house PS3 exclusives. All of them I know of bearly use 50mb (at best) if they used installs at all and you don't even notice it's been installed on the HDD.

Clever how they implemented leveling replay. Instead of simply getting to lvl 50 and then "prestiging" (starting over again... and again.. and again) they've added much more depth so once you get to lvl 60 then you can respec a number of times which extends your experiences to varying degrees for a long time and then you can choose to defect if another Faction invites you... then you do the whole thing again getting to lvl 60 and then respecing as much as you like... then you can do...
I don't think it was released way too early. I don't even know how that is even relevant though. The game simply was not engaging enough for a lot of gamers to want to play with others online.
Calling all cars was kinda fun for me but the gameplay, for me, was too ol' school and the slaptic humor felt stale. Good fun during family gatherings here and there but it didn't hold my attention for more than 20mins.
