You guys will HAVE TO pay extra if you want to play this game online with your friends while the PS3 base just buy the disc and has access to full content they paid for.
Then Id brings out a HOME gaming space for the game and fans on the PS3 can meet up in a dedicated space for this game and have mini games for free.
Yeah, so even IF it's "faster" on the 360 (which really doesn't make a lick of sense since they're obviously pandering to MS 360 base cause th...
btw, doesn't anyone ever think how stupid one must be to get multiplat games for the 360 instead of the PS3? I mean when you think about it, this is what happens:
Buying 360 version of Modern Warfare 2: Buy disc for $60; play only half the content; Pay extra to unlock use for other half of disc.
Buying PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2: Buy disc for $60 and play ALL content on disc; get free gaming virtual MW space in HOME and play additional mini games for free.

Motorstorm HOME gaming space looks sweet! lol I'm glad we got MS:PR game launching now.
How hard is this to understand when talking about Mass Effect franchise?
and we know this one will likely have a SP campaign too. SUWEEET!
Wasn't a big fan of Warhawk (just couldn't gel with the gameplay mechanics) but I'd definitely check this one out no problem.
I remember that game so well too. A friend of mine gave it to me to try out and it wasn't 'till a played it a bit that I just burst out in roaring laughter when I remembered what he told me before handing it to me.
It was something along the lines of: "DUDE!!! you HAVE TO play this game. You've seen nothing like it and it'll blow your mind. Dude, dont even worry about returning it just enjoy"
That looks soooooo goooooooooood. Please let gameplay match.
SOCOM 1&2's SP campaigns were the very best in the series (with definite preference to S1's) but kinda lost it's way and got watered down in later installations I feel. Here's to hoping beyond hope that they bring this to the PS3 down the road.
This is something I've been trying to get Sony to have a look at for years and I'm glad a console manufacture has implemented this for it's base.
Here hoping they extend this to disc based games too and have more elements to this feature like only being able to rate a game or content if your machine registrars that you've got the content and played it to a degree.
This a good step in the direction to give more power to the base of these consoles instead of total pow...
..so what? Is there some monopoly on game spaces or something? The space was used as an events space and now it's re-themed to be used as a Fat Princess gaming space... what's the problem exactly?
People with so much hate that they do something like this and others foolishly follow because of their own obvious jealous hate. Unbelievable.
I'm not one to stupidly ask that idiotic question of "who approved this garbage" but come on, How the hell did this get approved?
how did an obvious 1 hit website called "gamer blogs that suck" get approved and by pass N4G filters? how many other "articles" have this site done?
.. also, if it turns out to be true... an what? but still the whole thing had nothing but heresay. No actual pics of HHG or other journalists or anything. Just a pic of a car wreck and someone saying it was HHG that wreck a car.
THIS is considered news on N4G though right? Again, if this is true that...
Newage gamers should read this. When you talk about broken, go play Big Rigs and understand what "broken" means. I'm kinda surprised Superman on the N64 didn't make it in here though. Big Rigs was aweful indeed but it was soooo good how bad it was. Superman on N64 though was not in the least bit funny
Ohh that was such a fun read lol
Oh men, spit out my drink a number of times with the "The most scathing review quote" & "The nicest thing anyone had to say" parts lol Best fun article I've seen on here in a while.
What do you mean by re-used and old space?
Uh? If you haven't figured out that ME is coming to the PS3 at some point by now then no one can help you. It'll only make your butt hurt even more when you actually see it.
Didn't like the demo of the game. It didn't "feel" like Red Faction so I didn't bother with it. I've heard many positives about it and I'll probably give it a rental and check it out some more but from what I saw of the demo, there was little to no appeal for me with this game.
Oh goodness you just made me have an over whelming need to go put SOCOM in and have a couple of games XD
It launched with a $60 price tag, shoddy animations, plain jane objectives and lack luster graphics and servers but it wasn't blasted by most NA editorial reviewers and bathed in 4s
But(for $40) SOCOM:con comes out and surpass that game in every single area except for perhaps # of maps with similar launch issues as gears2 but got roasted. I just never understand reviewers standards. It looks like that just cut and fit however they want to or are told to.
and still can't muster more than 100,000 more sold in 3months? Now if this isn't a sign telling you to "Jump off!" I don't know what else to tell ya.
It really should be outselling the Wii not matching the PS3 #s. Oh well, I guess a 360 price cut is in order right before Christmas this year too. How much further can they go? $149.00 or $179.00?
