Nope, HHGS talked about it before. If you had just watched the shows to enjoy them instead of looking for something to spew garbage hate you'd know this. The date he said a slim is likely coming is clearly there, well before ANY other outlet even hinted at it.

HS was "proposed" to come out last gen on the xbox but it didn't cause MS were too involved with shooter after shooter to give a damn. This gen Sony scooped up the rights to it and had the original developers work on the game.
NT felt they should have benefited more from profits and got mad with Sony. Sony said it's business, deal with it.
The article was deliberately meant to mislead which is a no no.
Don't fall for the BS FUD excuses the "naysayers" use to hype some other racer over GT5 acting like damage is THE thing that makes a sim a sim.
When GT5 is released you'll see the most realistic simed damage any sim racer has ever done on consoles. When you compare them later on you'll see that Forza's car damage looks very out dated and feels like child's play in comparison.
