I don't think anyone at 2K thought this through properly. They may potentially lose more money from people boycotting the game because of the Hulk being removed than those who wouldn't buy it because the Hulk said some things 8 years ago.

I am excited about the FFVII remake. And I know it's definitely going to keep Square solvent. However, after that they should come out with something entirely new. They have milked the FF name quite a bit, I'd love to see them venture into something entirely new.
I am still scratching my head concerning their pricing decisions. IMO, if they charged a little less, more people would purchase them and retrospectively they'd make more money.
But! I guess they know what they are doing...
Nintendo with either become better or worse... But, obviously, it will not be the same without Iwata.
I am torn between keeping the same graphics and character mapping or going for a 2015 style super-graphics-update.
I know they won't use the same or similar engine as Shenmue II, but it would be pretty nostalgic if they did. Which truly hard-core fans would go gaga over.
