It's technically not a "Day One" problem. EA obviously did its early release as a form of Beta testing... That a bunch of people paid extra money for.
I really like the wide variety of ethnic backgrounds they have for presets. That's a super bonus in my book.
Of course, I'm going to be trying my damnest to make my character look like FemShep from ME12&3. No real reason. And I think many might disagree with my thought on this, but I just really like how my character looks and I think I might feel odd playing a Mass Effect game without that look.
I also wait a while. Not only by then will the game be COMPLETE and at a fair price, but also almost all of the DLC is most likely packaged with the game!
And also, I am able to truly and sensibly discern whether I'm still interested in playing.
