When you pre-order a game on PSN, you can start pre-loading the game on Sunday and its ready to play at midnight the day of launch. It even says "Play on 3.24.15 Midnight Eastern Time" right on the Bloodborne pre-order screen.
Im also looking forward to finally get my hands on Bloodborne in a few days. The game looks like its going to be awesome.
Im hoping they continue with the new Silent Hills game. It looked very interesting when they revealed it at Sonys E3 conference last year.
Street Fighter V is looking good so far. Im definitely looking forward to seeing more about it.
It was reported a few weeks ago that the PS4 would be launching in China today.
It sucks that all the restrictions in China only allowed Sony to launch the PS4 with only 6 games....but at least the govt is allowing Sony to give Chinese gamers the opportunity to enjoy some outside gaming experiences by not fully region locking the PS4.
A lot of new PS4 owners this gen used to own an xbox 360 or wii last gen. God of War 3 Remastered will give them the opportunity to experience one of the best games of last gen and introduce them to the series before Sony possibly announces GoW4.
@Lifeinnz Im not defending anything. I understand the principle as to why this would upset some people. But yearly sports games arent like other games that only come out once every few years and need a longterm online.
For me personally, Im a big baseball fan and my friends and I all update MLB The Show every year, so this really isnt an issue for me. If some other MLB The Show fans dont agree, thats fine. I accept that my opinion is in the minority on this specific issue.
We've known for a while now that many of Sonys first party studios have been working on projects for the past few years. Im very excited to see what new PS4 games get announced at this years E3.
The majority of the MLB The Show fanbase upgrade every year. For those gamers that dont really play online and are more into just casually playing the single player modes like Road to the Show, Franchise and Season Mode....they are not affected by this.
Also, thanks to the introduction of Share Play, older MLB The Show games dont even need an online anymore. You can just Share Play and virtually coach co-op against any of your friends whenever you want.
If we...
What does loyalty have to do with anything? The Metal Gear franchise started on Nintendo. So whats your point exactly? Youre basing your entire argument on the fact Hideo appeared once on Microsofts E3 stage a couple of years ago? He went right back to working Sonys E3 conferences ever since and has been one of the biggest promoters of the PS4 this generation.
@Xof - The PS4, PC and Wii U are my current gen consoles. But dont misunderstand me, i still have my PSone, PS2 and PS3. Of those 3, only my PS3 is still hooked up though, but its more of a secondary console to my PS4 these days.
@Blues - How is it "desperate times" for the PS4? The PS4 is already miles ahead of the competition in sales and is already off to a pretty solid start in 2015 with The Order 1886, Bloodborne, MLB15 The Show as well as several top quality exclusive indie titles.
Some people on here forget that the year has 12 months and think US sales in November are the only thing that matters while ignoring everything else Sony releases throughout the other 11 months of the year. ...
Congrats to Sony on the PS4's continued and impressive worldwide success. It just goes to show fanboys speak loud...but gamers wallets speak loudest.
The WiiU is probably the best Nintendo home console since the GameCube. Im curious to see what Nintendo has planned with the "NX".
As a PS4 (Sony), PC (Microsoft) and Wii U (Nintendo) gamer, Im enjoying the best of all worlds. There is nothing wrong with the WiiU being a "secondary" console. In my opinion, it completes the overall perfect gaming experience.
Im glad to see the anticipation for Bloodborne is so high. I expect launch sales to be pretty good considering the Special Edition keeps selling out. Theres nothing better than when new IP's like The Order 1886 and Bloodborne get supported by the gaming community.
Welcome to the PlayStation Nation! I cant think of a better game for you to jump into first then Bloodborne.
As a huge Demons Souls fan, Bloodborne is easily my most anticipated game of March. With Bloodborne, The Order 1886, MLB15 The Show and some excellent indie titles in between (like HellDivers), the PS4 is already off to a pretty good start in 2015.
Nice looking turnout for the PS4 launch in China. I wish Sony the best of luck in their new market.
