@OUROSMAG - Bloodborne isnt the only game that disagrees with this article. The PS4 already has a pretty solid lineup of games for a 1 year old system.

The Last of Us Remastered(95)
Bloodborne (93)
Final Fantasy Realm Reborn (86)
Guilty Gear Xrd (85)
MLB14 The Show (83)
Infamous Second Son (80)

@Vishmarx - I have to give it to you. You made me laugh with that one. I get where youre coming from though. It seems like certain members of the gaming community think only November counts and ignores the other 11 months out of the year.

Nintendo doesnt need saving. All Nintendo needs to do at E3 is the same thing Sony and Microsoft need to do....show off some new games.

I never played a Deus Ex game before until we got Human Revolution for free on PSPlus a couple of years back and I have to say I actually enjoyed it. Ill definitely keep an eye on Mankind Divided.

I think the early favorites right now for Game of the Year contenders are:

- Bloodborne (93)
- Batman Arkham Knight
- Metal Gear Soild V
- Witcher 3
- Halo 5

@CapraDemon - Agreed. I know a lot of my personal friends went from a 360 last gen to a PS4 this gen. Me personally, I believe in enjoying the best of all worlds though. I went with a PS4 and WiiU this gen (I had a PS3 and a 360 last gen), but I still enjoy some of the best games Xbox has to offer on my PC like Titanfall, Ryse and Ori & The Blind Forest.

Its very simple. If original PS3 owners want to re-play it, they have that option. If new PS4 owners that never owned a PS3 want to play it. They have that option as well. If neither one of those scenarios work for you. Thats fine. No one is forcing you to buy the game.

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of God of War and Santa Monica Studios wanted to do something new to celebrate. Re-releasing a port of an already released HD Collection isnt new. But giving a remastered u...

@Gangsta - For people that already owned a PS3, The God of War Saga includes GOW1, GOW2 and the two GOW PSP games. The only game missing is God of War 3, which now has its own seperate remastered edition. Why make people re-buy an entire collection they probably already own just for one game?

Secondly, these remasters are being marketed more to new PS4 gamers that had a 360 or Wii last gen and didnt have a PS3 and missed out on playing God of War games. God of War 3 pretty mu...

There are millions of new PS4 owners that came over from the 360 and Wii and never owned a PS3 last gen and didnt get the chance to play this incredible game. Thats why.

That deal is already available. Is called the God of War Saga and has 4 different God of War games in one package.

If youre one of the millions of new PS4 owners that had a 360 or Wii and didnt own a PS3 last gen and didnt get the chance to play God of War 3, then the answer is most definitely yes, its worth picking up.

@XBLSkull - just like Xbox has struggled to come up with an answer for Uncharted. Thats why MS had to buy a timed exclusivity deal for Tomb Raider.

Each system has their strengths and weaknesses. Halo is most definitely a strength for Xbox. But dont for a second be confused and think that means Killzone is a bad FPS.

Also, saying Killzone is no longer a "tentpole" game for Sony even though its still one of the most successful franchises on the PlayStation is ridiculous.

- Killzone 2 (91) and Killzone 3 (84) were both highly rated shooters

- Killzone 2 (3 Million), Killzone 3 (2.7 Million) and Killzone Shadow Fall (2.2 Million) all did very well in sales.

But....I thought the future of PS4 depended on DriveClub...and then again on The Order 1886 and then again on Bloodborne?

Is this going to now be a new thing everytime Sony announces a new IP? The PS4 isnt going to live or die on any one game alone. But rather on the overall quality of its entire library. Sony proved this point with the PSone, PS2 and more recently the PS3.

I agree with people wanting more new IPs. I just dont understand the obsession with *only* focusing on new IPs while ignoring all of the brand new established sequels that have also come out as well while complaining that all we get are remasters. That makes no sense.

At the end of the day, between all of the new IPs and established sequels, there are tons of non-remastered games to play. Based on peoples comments above, I see a lot of people disagreeing with your opinion.

@MichaelLito - Neither Sony nor MS can control if 3rd party companies want to release remasters while working on newer projects.

If youre going to include indie games on xbox as examples of new IP's, then that makes your point even less valid. I can list several more PS4 exclusive indie games that are new IPs as well as a ton of 3rd party new IP indie games.

Also, what is with the obsession with new IP's only? So your telling me you dont play any of t...

After the success of Bloodborne, releasing Deep Down in the US would be a very smart move for Capcom. Another AAA action/RPG new IP would be another great addition to the growing PS4 library.

But gamers *are* getting new IPs as well as brand new sequels to established franchises. All of this talk of "too many" remasters just doesnt make any sense. There are tons of non-remastered games to play.

Take Sony for example. They have The Last of Us and God of War 3. But as far as new IP's, so far they have already dropped Bloodborne, The Order 1886, Drive Club and Knack. They also have Until Dawn coming out in a couple of months. Plus we already know severa...
