The PS4 is a great gaming console that deserves its incredibly high worldwide sales. The PlayStation brand has had some rocky roads here and there, but ultimately it has been consistently giving gamers high quality gaming experiences for the past 20 years. PSone, PS2 and PS3 all ended their respective generations strong with both quality gaming and high worldwide sales. The PS4 is on track to continue that tradition.
Congrats to Sony on the PS4s continued and impressive worldwide success. I can see 2015 being an even stronger year for the PlayStation brand with all of the great looking new exclusive games, massive 3rd party support and deep library of high quality indie titles all coming out this year.
I played Titanfall on the PC. Its a fun shooter, but I would have enjoyed it a lot more if it had an actual campaign story.
I dont think anyone is surprised that Titanfall 2 is breaking exclusivity with xbox and coming to PS4. It was pretty much hinted at for months.
Slow week for pre-orders. But its good to see PS4 has 3 games in the top 5 spots (Batman Arkham Knight, Witcher 3 and Final Fantasy Type-0). Also good to see Halo in the top spot for xone.
I agree. Some people forget that this was Ready At Dawns first full AAA console project. And it was on the new generations system too. Before this they mostly worked on PSP games. Thats a huge leap forward for them as a studio.
As far as the game itself, I also really enjoyed it as did many of my friends that actually played it (including a couple of guys that are die hard xbox fans and PC gaming fans).
The Order 1886 isnt going to win any Game of the Year Aw...
Which console is "better" all depends on what kind of gamer you are and what each console offers your specific gaming needs. The PS4, Xone and WiiU all have strengths and weaknesses. For me personally this generation, I decided to go with the PS4 and WiiU.
Congrats to Sony and the PS4 on its continued worldwide success. And as a bonus, its good to see The Order 1886 had another good week in sales as well. Its a pretty good game and a very promising new IP franchise that deserves to be supported.
Like I said during the Quantum Break article...id rather have a delayed game be good than a rushed game be a buggy mess. We've already had enough games suffer recently from being rushed (ex: Assassins Creed Unity, DriveClub, Halo Master Chief Collection, etc...)
There is no rush. PS4 already has a ton of games scheduled for 2015 including both retail games and indie titles. There are 12 months in a year. A successful exclusive lineup isnt based on just the last 2 months ...
Definitely looking forward to this game. Bloodborne is hands down my most anticipated game of March.
First we find out Sony Santa Monica Studios is on a hiring spree....now we hear Sony Bend Studios is also on a hiring spree. Its going to be a really interesting E3 for PlayStation this year.

As a long time MGS fan, if this special edition Metal Gear Solid PS4 releases in the US...I would definitely buy it day #1.
Syphon Filter reboot or Jak 4 would be my vote.

That is one nice looking PS4. I'm very tempted to pick it up.
