I'm kind of sick of these articles. No one complained about RE4. Why? Because now RE fans have to deal with Xbots (Gears Goons); the worst kind of gamers every conceived. Now, all of a sudden, RE sucks because it's not Gears of War.
Wow that's pretty harsh. I'm sure people said the same thing about Warcraft. Hmmm. Wasn't that an RTS before it became an MMO too? ::ponders::
The scale of the game could also be limitless, which I love. Also, I would rather play as a Zealot than anything I've played in WoW.

I agree. They haven't made a good Sonic game since Adventure 1, and many fans would even dispute that. They really had 8-9 chances on this one.
The article poster likes the game, and thinks it deserves a high mark. He's just noting why it might not get a perfect 10. I don't get all the commotion.
There have been 20 "why Resident Evil 5 won't be good" articles just based off a demo. Killzone 2 has a beta.
I'd say yea. Rent it first. The Time Trials are where it's at. It's a short action game, but it's a LONG puzzle game. It's hard to explain, but you have to find the best way to solve a level in the time trials, and that's a TON of fun. There's a review of it on Gamerlimit as well.

RE is RE. RE4 had the classic scheme and it won many awards and gamers' praise. It's different, and fine how it is.
