I noticed that, too. Out of curiosity I clicked the "download single player" first, but when the download finished there was nothing but the multiplayer. Thought that they'd perhaps accidentally sent the game to the store early...
It was an error, a simple human error. It has since been fixed. No need to blow it up into a big deal.
Crap. Just realised, I might have been playing Uncharted 2...
Mastercorn - I think not, my dear. Did I call anyone horrible names? Did I send direct messages on twitter to people calling them a "lying ladyparts" and other vulgarities? Nope. Nope. And nope.
Do I reply with a touch of sarcasm and humour? Everytime, no doubt. I like having a giggle, if you want me to apologise for that... It's gonna be a long wait.
You mean the article that was "news" before mods changed it to "opinion" then to "rumour" where it was voted "hard to tell"
@crimzon - don't worry about it. Haters gonna hate and all that jazz...
Correction: 25 year old with the childishness of a 10 year old.
Thanks.
First, great work cherry picking that quote. It makes a lot more sense when it's quoted in full:
Also, it’s worth bearing in mind that this review was conducted after applying the hefty day-one patch so please, before you even think of being the ultimate keyboard warrior in the comments, use your bloody brain, yeah?
As for the pun? Yeah, I'm bloody proud of it. Spent a good 35-45 minutes coming up with it. If you don't like a bit of humour, well,...
For me, personally, it's a 9. That's not to say the review is wrong or that someone who say's it's a six is wrong. Reviews are opinions. From the site:
9.0-10.0: Must Buy. Any game that scores between a 9 and a 10 is certified fresh and will most probably give you great satisfaction. Many happy joy-joys all around!
Each site will have its own scale. For some a 6 might be a turd, but for me, a 6/10 isn't bad and could be a great game in the...
This. It's the reason I'm a bit iffy with JC3's gunplay, it's not bad, but it's not what I'm used to. No points taken away, none added, just a note that I personally didn't like it.
Because it's live. Google it.
If you'd read the article, or even the video's title, you'd see that this is post-day-one patch.
It's not an always online game. You can choose to not connect to the servers, and even then it's still not great.
*Exceptionally abysmal. Please, I try hard at being terrible, at least acknowledge how terrible I really am. Thanks.
@quaneylfc - there's no reasoning with these people. If a bad word is spoken about the beloved PS4, you're instantly an idiot who can't hold a controller without an IKEA guidebook.
What crawled up your rectum this morning?
Personally, I detest being the bearer of bad news, but as it's sort of my job, I don't really have a choice. Also, the article was written after playing with and without the day one update.
Oh, look, someone with a bit of sense. Given the game is made by the same people as Mad Max on the same engine as Just Cause 3, it's not the stupidest thing in the world to imagine similarities between performance of the two games. Take Battlefield and Battkefront as prime examples.
It was tested with and without the patch.
Why ask for an answer only to immediately refuse it? What is there to cover up? You might want to check your tin foil hat mate, because you're seeing "cover ups" where there aren't any...
@scw - a mistake, a simple, non-damaging mistake that's since been rectified and apologised on-site for.
As for "this sight is always wrong blah blah" - how about some examples? Everyone makes errors, it's unavoidable, but at least I'll admit it and make the changes.
You're just plain bloody rude.
