It wont be those sorts of games Ocelot. Think more along the lines of your Lost Odyssey, Final Fantasy, etc. It'd be interesting to see their take on a JRPG, I imagine it would be sort of Persona like in difficulty.
I'd be interested in it anyway.
Well their support of the Wii U was nonexistent, but I can't blame EA since that console was DOA. They supported the Wii, for obvious reasons - By far the biggest selling home console in the past two generations. 100 million+ compared to the 360 & PS3's 84m each.
If this console has some strong first party support on launch, not just old games re-released, and Nintendo get a few decent third party titles on board, and cut any gimmick nonsense, then the console wil...
It sounds like the broken timeline will be able to offer disjointed levels and such. I've not really heard anything about Quantum Break though, but not really been looking out for it.
Like others have said, if it's anything like the second half of Alan Wake I won't complain.
There doesn't seem to be a great deal really. Limited number of weapons and traits. It has the star cards that make up for it. Limited planets and vehicles - or it just seems that way when they're in text form.
We'll see, but I'm sensing a lot was left for DLC fodder at a later date.
It's nice to say that it's DICE so possibly trustworthy, but the command will be from EA. Then again, if it's anything like the Battlefield stuff then it'll be worth it. Iono!
Then again, I'll probably not even buy the game, hah.
Hmm. Well, it's a fear i've had about DX12 that it could be too complicated to be used properly. A benefit consoles may, finally, have over the PC? Ease to develop for.
Though in reality DX11 is still easy and more than good enough.
I'm not impressed with it being W10 only, but that's just the way of Microsoft. Good to see the functionality and it not impacting performance too much, just see how it runs and looks when the game actually comes out. It's still early days.
The comment is more based on the VR's sales possibilities more than the hardware itself. It's not a completely true statement though, in my opinion, Valve's VR has just as large of an install base, if not larger.
Got to say, from the screenshots it does look pretty damn good. The proof will be in playing though, and how the lighting system has impact in performance.
That's a pretty admirable way to look at it. You are going to want to succeed, but why would you want all of your rivals to fail?
It's been proven time and time again in all industries, no competition creates stagnation and your own products decline because there's nothing to push you to be better.
Good. I'm not exactly anal about frame rate but there's never any need to have it locked. This isn't a console, this is a PC. if it can run it with a higher frame rate, let it.
I can't help but think of the film when I hear The Butterfuly Effect. But it is an interesting theory and should always prove to be a good way to write a story, especially one that relies on choice.
I'd be surprised about them getting 60FPS on the console. However, depends on the requirements it has. If possible, go for it!
It's more of a surprise to me it's coming to consoles. I don't remember the first being on them. That the Xbone is slightly inferior shocks nobody!
Hmm, sounds an interesting one
That'll be a 100% purchase for me
It makes sense that it would be. They don't want to drag it on too far and, as Bloodborne has made quite aware, From Software can take the same formula to another title.
This i'm looking forward to. I've spent so much time on F3 and New Vegas in the past.
I hope it does come to the consoles, if it's good enough anyway. I'm not a console user myself, but I'm all for every game getting as wider audience as possible, not by "appealing to all audiences" but by simply making itself available by being on every platform.
I'm just disappointed in the push for DLC now. It's anti-consumer at the worst but yet, and it's bad of me, I still buy a season pass of games I'm loving or I'm sure I'll love. Fallout 4 Season Pass will be bought, for example. But as for Battlefront? Not a chance.
