i only know one thing: this consoles gen has been the lamest ever. so many disappointments, so many rehashes. we are living in dark gaming times in a zombified industry.
funny thing is i don‘t want even a hacked one. i had a hacked wii back then and boy, shovelware heaven. „but neeeeh, this is a whole new tier“ i hear them fanboys sing. i just don‘t see that. it‘s the same in green. nintendo games with their stale formula or outdated formats. thanks, pass.
can‘t wait for the outcry when gamers will be forced to play rdr2 which will have tons of microtransactions and loot boxes. or when the 23.897 other devs and pubs will switch to monetizing their open world games. because after all they see the games of EA get bought anyway.

the sad thing is, everybody could have seen this coming. but rationality got killed by everybody and their mother going „deeewd, sh00tergame, yesss!“. from that perspective the audacity of the devs and publishers is understandable. what i can‘t understand is why today‘s gamers don‘t set an example and just don‘t buy these freaking rehashes.
as long as they will be losing this online based multiplayer crap i will be interested. otherwise my money will again go elsewhere.

well, they are right. casuals dont care for skateboard games. the casuals wallets is what they are after. clearly they do not have real gamers in mind at these boards. that‘s why you get such seemingly out of touch phrases. but they‘re not out of touch. they are in for the money. the problem is: most gamers (especially the younger ones) think games get made so that they got something nice to play. this couldn‘t be farer away from reality.
the xoxbox is doing well. people forget that it is only a gaming console in the second place. first place is the licenses they are selling in the living room to mom and dad.
rdr2 is a rehash and one that goes in a totally wrong direction. i bet it will be a microtransaction galore. western themed games suck anyway, so definitely ignore–worthy.
