honestly, as a customer, i don’t care. lose the expensive and dull mocap cutscenes, lose the voice actors and multiplayer and start making good old games again that are engaging.
no more remakes. it is as simple as that

you didn‘t pay attention, that‘s all. for everybody else it was pretty clear where things were heading. for example you thought what was happening in the mobile world would not affect YOUR hobby ;-) well, think again ;-)

hell yes they will. this outrage is just a storm in a teacup. people are saying one thing „sssssooo mad at them“ and doing another thing „deewd, a sale and battlefront 2 is discounted by 50%“. pathetic.
the graphics will have to be amped up quite a bit and they need to lose the eyecancer provoking aliasing. besides, i hope the „proof of concept“ phase will be over soon and we will get more games with substance.

when i just hear the word arena in a game title
i want to vomit out of sheer boredom. the game itself i don‘t know. i think i‘ll try it. not the arena part though.
