there's value in subscription-based services IF they happen to have what you like. it's just like netflix; they have a lot of stuff to watch on it, and technically it's a really good value, but whenever i was scrolling through the menus for stuff to watch, i ended up just watching youtube or something else entirely instead.
it's also bad for the industry as a whole because it just encourages company's to straight-out buy other companies, devs, publishe...
this backfired tremendously for ms lol they thought taking it away from sony's platforms would be a huge advantage for them, but now all the focus is on JUST ms. basically that this game, redfall, is sub-par, and, surprise, it's an ms exclusive lol it just further highlighting that ms not only fails at making their own first-party exclusives good, but they can't even buy them lol
ms is pretty pathetic when you think about it... they've been around 20-some odd years, and have absolutely 0 critically acclaimed first-party studios of their own lol they used to have them at some point but they mismanaged and essentially EA'd themselves. now they're basically just saying, "ah, f*** it. we can't make our own games worth tf, so we'll just buy all the competition. then we'll finally have good exclusives". they're basically giving awa...
tbh, it's not like the quest design in bethesda games is good anyways lol it's basically, "accept quest, walk to marker, kill/get something, talk to npc, return to quest-giver for reward", over and over again. if it was a writer then maybe it'd have more impact, but you esentially have the entire bethesda quest experience back in oblivion. it's unchanged. the guy's basically placing way-points on the map.
cope harder? lol performance mode is a standard feature these days. 30fps was pretty much a requirement back on ps3/360, and you're telling me a brand new game in 2023, xbsx/ps5 gen, is only just meeting that requirement still? lol
one of the biggest issues with gaming is that people are willing to settle for less, and so it's become ok to release half-assed products. we've allowed standards to slip so low that people actually think bf2042 is on the same le...
i thought people would be smart enough to know lol
ps5 owners really missing out lmao
if you're reminiscing about bf3/4, i'll just tell you this isn't it lol this game is nowhere near either of those games and never will be. i didn't play this at launch, and just tried it out because it was free on psn, but if this is what people are happy about, then it just goes to show how far dice, and the bf franchise have fallen. it's mediocre at best and if this is considered good, then i would have hated to see what it was like the past 2 years lol it's been...
what are you talking about? people shat all over gotham knights for not being 60fps lol forspoken had a lot of other flaws to focus on other than the fps, too. don't worry, though, i'm sure redfall will fall short in other areas, so there will be plenty more to criticize once it releases lol
hopefully they took the criticisms and are making changes for the better. 8 months is a long time so there's hope it's not gonna be whack af when it finally releases.
i really don't get ms' strategy with this game... releasing it on ps5 would make them more money than what it's currently going to do, and it's not like hordes of people are gonna go out and buy either xb console just to play this particular game. i have no interest in getting an xb anymore this gen, but i was at least interested in this game enough to consider buying it in a sale at some point if it was multi-plat lol now they get nothing. exclusives should be the reason ...
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. that game could have been so good...
look, i know no one was expecting this game to be great, but not even having stealth take-downs? lol
this game was supposed to be like the safe, "i'll just wait and play this instead", after gotham knights came out... looks like another once-trusted dev bites the dust.
i like gatcha but i'm not paying for it lol if you just unlocked ALL in-game currency through playing quests and side-side stuff, then i'd be fine, imo. i'd never pay for extra rolls, though.
battlefield 3 was incredible. someone was hiding behind a wall: blow it up. or better yet, destroy the whole building and flush everyone out. bf4 came along and introduced the levelution stuff(or whatever it's called), but limited building destruction. everything after that was pretty much non-existent. i wish they'd remake/remaster bf3 because bf sucks ass now lol
hehe, whadda'ya buyin?
remember when bioware could just make a half-decent game? pepperidge farm remembers.
true or not, he comes off like a complete bitch by saying that lmao what a great leader lol
ea is hilarious lol not only are they one of the most hated companies in the industry because of their monetization practices, but they FINALLY have something good with the jedi: survivor franchise and they somehow mange to botch it as well lol incredible.
