sony living in your head rent-free, huh?
the switch can't even run its own store without massive lag, so of course people lose their minds when a game can run at a solid 30fps.
if you like nintendo's library, that's fine, but there's definitely a double--standard when it comes to nintendo in general.
levels look barren and the combat looks clunky, tbh. i like the art style they used but it looks very much like a budget game.
"so, like... we wanna buy you..."
i really loved the atmosphere and idea of killzone. i hope they revisit it at some point because it always had so much potential.
the xb brand is the epitome of, "quantity over quality".
there was a time when xb was a respected gaming division...
70 billion well-spent so far!
l.m.a.o.
ms is hilarious lol they're so incredibly bad at making games that they need to buy the biggest companies that sell to the most casual of markets just to be relevant. here's a thought: if you can't make good games, maybe don't complete in the gaming industry.
ms is like the spoiled rich kid that has no talent or skills to offer, so they just throw money at all their problems lol
backwards compatibility isn't gonna save ms. only people that are into games as an actual hobby care about that feature. if you ask the average person that casually plays games, like cod, or something, if they care about it; they don't. do you think the hordes of people that play cod are going back to play the older ones on a regular basis? no. regardless of how great a console library is, the fact is most people don't care. the average person that buys a ps5 of series x does...
ms just has no standards when it comes to games. they want quantity over quality and it shows. i think the last time you can even argue that xb truly had a must-have exclusive was back on the 360.
it's not a secret that every company is in it for the money, but some actually put forth the effort to try and make good games and grow their reputation for it. ms is just throwing money into the wind and hoping that eventually one of the devs they buy will eventually put...
the single player is good but the online is overrated af. bunch of sad, sad people, paying ridiculous amounts of real money just to grief each other lol
"a constant stream of games to play since the beginning of the year"... i mean, what are you even basing that off of? lol
i mean, i have fun with dynasty warriors still, and that sure as hell didn't take a billion to make lol these companies claim it costs so much but where's the quality? other than a very small handful of devs/companies, there's nothing to show for all this extra spending. they could spend a trillion on cod and it'd still be the same thing as last year.
i just hope they don't spread themselves too thin and end up sacrificing quality for quantity, we all saw how quickly both good will and reputation go down the toilet when devs start to get greedy.
ms basically HAS to do this to stay relevant lol they have zero good first-party studios and games, and they're hemorrhaging money with their game pass. they're so one-dimensional in everything that they do, it's like they forget you need games on a gaming console lol they go after having powerful hardware, which is great, but when your competition is offering better EVERYTHING, then you have a big problem. i had no problem with ms before this gen. in fact, i tried for a year...
hey capcom. how about remaking/remastering that avp arcade game and giving it online co-op?
so, basically, "if you're looking for actual good games but found that you made a huge mistake by buying an xbox... well, you can play these sub-par games instead and pretend you're playing something great" lol
