xb is really shaping out to just be for stupid people lol you could basically only buy the s for a good while at the start of this gen. if you were smart, you waited for the x to become more readily available. i remember seeing a bunch of articles like, "which xbox is right for you?", and a lot of people just wanted to have "next gen" at the time, but now look at theseries s. ms basically knew it was gonna struggle meeting demands with just the x, so they put out a wea...
ms has a lot more to worry about than vr right now.
starfield looks good. that's it. sony's showcase wasn't that great either, tbh. gotta wait to see how both company's games turn out before we start declaring who won or who's got the upper-hand this year lol
agree. bethesda has had horrible character models and animations forever lol while their games are generally a good experience, i definitely wouldn't give them a free pass, "just because...". the problem with the industry now is how much people settle, or are content with how terrible something may be. micro-transactions, unfinished games, season passes, etc.
you can tell just how lost, pathetic, and desperate ms has become. they've essentially taken their biggest, most iconic first-party franchise and tossed it aside for a game that they had nothing to do with, but are praying will finally give them a good "exclusive". good luck to the gaming industry when that act/blizz deal goes through. prepare for crackdown 3-like games year after year lol
crazy how indifferent ms is about one of the biggest franchises in gaming. it looks pretty bad when you don't even have a clear plan for your flagship title. ms just has no idea how to make good games anymore.
xbox is in dire need of new leadership. they're just in a horrible spot in general right now. they're the worst of the 3 consoles, and are in a weird position where they're not pleasing their consumers, so they have to spin this crazy pr bs in order to keep investors happy. they know they can't make their own games worth a damn and so they're buying up the biggest companies possible in order to try and make the market smaller. i'd honestly love for ms to have as go...
i got a gaming pc so i'm good lol
how about take your time and make GOOD games then. instead of making excuses and buying up all the competition, make something of your own that shows what all your resources can actually do. it's been a decade and we're still waiting.
tbh, i don't really care if it's 30 or whatever, as long as it's locked at a MINIMUM of 30. 60fps was being advertised back on ps3, with only certain games being able to actually hit that. then the next gen came and we still weren't at standard 60fps for consoles. now we're at our current generation of consoles and we're STILL not at a 60fps standard. people made this a big deal because the industry has been shoving it in our faces for over a decade, with ms consta...
eh, let 'em have it lol starfield isn't even made by them. it cost them nearly 70 billion and it's not even a sure thing yet, either. i don't think starfield will be bad by any means, but judging by bethesda's track record, it'll 100% havea rocky launch and take a good year or so to be what it was supposed to be at launch.
tbh, i think people expect a lot more from sony than they do from ms at this point. no one expects anything from ms, and you have to admit, starfield had a good showing. that being said, you can't believe anything todd/bethesda shows/says before the actual launch of their games. we all remember fo76 and how long it took for that game to even become decent.
just depends on what you want to play. some people like sony's games more and some people like ms'. no...
you know, i was actually excited when phil took over xbox, but he hasn't done a damn thing to make the xbox brand better. i used to trust him because i actually believed that him being a gamer would have some impact on what went on behind the scenes; it doesn't. years later, and they still don't have anything that's even close to a generational game, and the only one that they do(starfield), is from an already established company that they had to straight-up buy. how the he...
isn't that the whole point of game pass? to have all your first-party games available on it? lol release some exclusives that don't suck and we'll be excited.
why do people even bother linking sites that require you to disable my ad blocker? i'm not going to. ever. lol
a quick google search says the game will release on, "September 21 2023".
space marine 2 has 3-player co-op!
ms just doesn't know how to manage and grow its studios lol just look at tsushima; they dropped legends(co-op content) out of nowhere and it's better than pretty much everything ms has put out in the past decade, and that was a free content update just for the hell of it. they didn't even have micro-transactions/loot crates or any bs ways to monetize it after, either, it was just a completely free co-op add-on.
the headline/quote leads you to believe everything's gonna be a gameplay showcase, but it could literally be all heavily edited cg cutscenes, and then 2 seconds of actual in-game footage of a character standing, looking into the horizon lol i would expect that to be the case since greenberg(who they're quoting) is a scumbag lol
so, i hear people saying all the time that the switch's huge advantage over competitors is that it's portable. i have never, in my entire life, seen anyone playing their switch in public. ever. mine is docked next to my bed, and everyone else that i know uses it at home lol people that try to argue that "x" is too big to take outside; bullshit lol it's not so unwieldy that it can't be done. i'd say most people play it in bed or in their homes for the most p...
there are hardly any demos for games in general these days lol whenever one's actually announced, it's like, "holy sh!t, there's a demo".
