if you look at halo sales numbers, the franchise peaked at halo 3 in 2007(11.87 mil). since then, they've lost an average of a million with each major release(9.52 mil for halo:reach and 8.94 mil for halo 4), and that's when the 360 had around 80 million consoles sold. be realistic, halo will sell well on xb1, but it's not going to sell as well as halo 3 did with the number of xb1 consoles currently sold. people aren't holding out on current gen for halo... they're just...

ea/maxis is known for this lolz i love the sims but it was such bs how they held back features that ts2 had from ts3. they can talk all they want about it always being "new tech", but everyone knows that's bs. they release a bare bones base game and then have "stuff" packs and regular dlc released at regular intervals. i'm sure the amount of dlc for this franchise dwarfs any other. the amount of money you'd have to spend to get everything is ridiculous.
given nd's track record, i don't think there's anything to worry about.
