PC got the Jap track, so no Kiefer for ME!
I know, what I am trying to say is the game is an exact port minus the ability to raise the view distance, so there not going to be much difference in terms of detail between the two, but 30 vs. 60 fps is very noticeable especially for the type of game Dying Light is.
The main difference is framerate and view distance. I would not want to play a fast-pace, parkour style FPS @ 30fps. Also, biggest hit on PC is the view distance and if you look at the roofs on the distant buildings in the comparisons, you will notice a lot of little details missing from it in the PS4 version.
Every time I play and hear Kiefer, all I can think is 'Metal Gear Solid: Ground Twenty-Four'. He sounds the same in everyTHING!
I'm thankful that I live in a country that lets me play with games and guns and than eat turkey, ham and pie in one day.
It took Michael Cera to ruin Scott Pilgrim for you? Geez, the plot of Scott Pilgrim is enough to ruin Scott Pilgrim. I actually believe Michael Cera was the perfect portrayal for Scott Pilgrim as they're both douchebags.
Demos, demos, demos. A lot of PC gamers download games from torrents to see how well it runs on their machine, see if there is any gamebreaking glitch early on in the game, and to see if its a game they would be interested in before they drop some moolah on it. I've never understood why developers release so many demos for consoles, but only once in a blue moon for PC gamers. Cool PR move by the developers, though.
All I care about is optimization. Black Flag seem like it really took a lot more overhead than it should've require. Why can't every game be like Metro: LL with their PC coding.
Visual novels are not games, they are interactive books thus the term novel. It like saying interactive porn is a gaming genre.
Parity is bad for gaming and industry in general regardless of the platform.
They should have never used the word parity. Any BS excuse would have had an infinitely better outcome.
How can you take a review seriously when the reviewer doesn't know the difference between upscaling and native resolution? She said in the review that the PS3 version of FFXIII had a better resolution than the PC. Also, I've read from multiple gaming sites, it's actually locked at 60fps, not 30 like this reviewer mentioned; but, this reviewer also thought the PS3 resolution was higher, so I confident the reviewer is also wrong about this. Shame on SE for not unlocking the resoluti...
If you own a gaming PC, you should. The reason more console players don't really notice is because they lack the ability to change the graphic settings of the game to actually see in real-time what exact difference are caused by changing them back and forth.
I want Nvidia PhysX jiggles! Screw the walk-wobble, I wanna see breast movement reacting from object interactions. If anyone can do it, Japan can!
They made MGS: R and ported it to PC, do the same with Bayonetta!
Wow, I never realize I lived in a world where there are no such things as crappy restaurants and cheap, fragile Chinese goods. Thanks INDUSTRIES...besides gaming. Oh wait, I live in the real world where every industry is flooded with cheaper, low quality alternatives just like games.
"In no other industry would that be an acceptable mindset."
Thanks, I literally spit coffee out laughing when I read this.
Don't really matter to me; I'm waiting for that Vitabox Sony is supposed to be releasing for $100 sometime in the near future. I'm not into the whole 'portable' gaming, but there are a few games exclusive to the Vita I would like to try out.
The naming of the console implies it came to life because of PC gaming. DirectX+Box-Direct=Xbox; basically bringing PC gaming onto the console field. I thank them for this as this help PC developers cross the barrier of console architecture that was keeping them away.
This kind of scheming is why I moved to PC. I can see it now, "Play FFX/X-2 like never before, remastered for the PS5 and Xbox Too at 4K resolution; which is so sharp, the texture look pixelated and blurred! Preorder for $60."
