This is *my* most anticipated of 2011. First new franchise I played this generation, and I love it to death.
Considering Bioware recently released a statement saying that the PS3 utilizes the ME3 engine, it makes sense that it looks better.
Uh. Did anyone notice the huge difference in visuals?
Not sure if it was just the video, but when they showed the comparison, one of the versions looked A LOT more crisp and sharp than the other...
This thing is looking sleek, definitely picking one up.
I can live with that. From what I've heard, it's a really great game.
Hand-to-hand combat is so ridiculous, he was just pummeling the poor fellow.
Smashes head against table, breaks neck, kicks him in the stomach just for fun.
Local multiplayer? :)
Yeah monsters definitely required a change in tactics. In the first game...
*SPOILERS*
The "cursed" creatures were super agile; I spent most my time running and gunning as opposed to taking cover and firing.
The guardians from the second game almost required you to just plow away at their heads because of the sheer amount of health they had. Another alternative was to kill one, take its crossbow, kill the others, rinse and repeat.
I thought the show was pretty straightforward.
- SSX
- inSANE
- Uncharted 3
- Mass Effect 3
- Forza 4
- Elder Scrolls V
- Resistance 3
- Portal 2
Lame jokes, awards that can't be taken seriously, and advertisements galore.
You're better off just refreshing N4G every 5 minutes. Thankfully GT updated their site with the vids as soon as they were "revealed".
I'd totally buy that; kart racing with Sully with his wise cracking comments every time a power-up is acquired.
This actually looks AMAZING!! Graphical kings of this generation, no competition.
Shit just got real.
I just came.
Turbo Race (level 17?)
36,000 for a 3-lap around Highspeed Ring. That's my farming tool for now; finals next week, only level 18 blah.
Time to go crash that $1,000,000 Enzo.
Reminds me of Hilary Swank.
Hot or not?
I kinda wanna see a standard GT5 car vs. the Forza counterpart.
Is this real life?
Seriously, looks amazing. Glad to see that they upped the effort on the voice acting, looks + sounds awesome!
Honestly, if you take a cautious approach, it's pretty hard to die. As for flanking, you can make out movement in the shadows, so it's not that big of a deal.
You can't expect to just run and gun, you have to use everything at your disposal (as I eventually found out. Mines, grenades, molotovs, and flares are your friends; use them.
Another tip: Upgrade the rifle right away, and always have it charged up, it can penetrate through rows of enemies...
These guys always find something to nitpick.
"I'm still skeptical about Killzone 3. Its setting, color palate, and aesthetic seem very similar to the previous game, while the controls have been subtly smoothed. There's still much to be seen in the game's story mode, but I worry the additions for the sequel have been of the "bigger and more bad ass indeed" school of thought. The first game had you fighting alongside a cynical but charming Helghan de...
