I'm all for it going multi-platfom, however, I think that it should remain exclusive, just because the GeOW name already has such a strong association with the MS/360 name.
And it's one of the last remaining "true" console exclusives for the box.
Learned my lesson from watching the Killzone 3 vids; read every article, and watched every video. By the time I played the game, I was left with only a few surprises :S
Gotta RESIST the urge.
I find the game's actually alot more fun when the classes are evenly distributed among the team. Killzone is one of the only games where kills are a secondary objective for me; the way to rack up points is to support your team and secure those objectives!
This looks amazing!
Holy shit. That just got me really pumped, can't wait 'til June!
I actually tried to get into mobile gaming (iPhone), but the only games I actually enjoyed were the "casual" games such as Plants vs. Zombies, Bejeweled, Angry Birds, etc.
I need t3h buttonz!!11!!!!
NGP/3DS ftw.
This is actually a huge turnoff for me, I enjoyed the length, I felt it allowed for greater storytelling and depth.
@Focker420
I think it would be absolutely amazing if that were the case. That would prove that the story isn't as shallow as people make it out to be. There's such a great backstory to the whole killzone universe, it's a shame that it lacks a proper narrative.
Marksman class is a bit unbalanced, especially once you unlock the "Two Primary Weapons" skill. I usually have the STA52 as my main, then the sniper as my backup, and it's ridiculous how many kills you can rack up.
It seems that this time around, everything is alot more balanced. I actually find myself switching classes throughout the game depending on the task at hand.
Only thing that frustrates me is the super early DLC release. I just handed out $67 for the game, I really don't feel like paying an additional 5 for content that should have already been included on the disk.
Teamwork or GTFO!
Just picked it up today...
Anyone who gave this game under a 9 is on crack.
I think I might pick up the inevitable "Ultimate" or "GOTY" edition. There are way too many other great games coming out... And I just blew 70 clams on KZ3 :P
I actually liked the character development in DA:O better than ME:2, I'm hoping it doesn't go downhill in the sequel.
Omg.
Folklore is actually SO good, best use of motion controls this generation (IMO). Great story, great character development, great gameplay, great everything!
Disappointed that there's no sequel planned, but nevertheless I enjoyed it while it lasted.
Good thing there are plenty of good multi-plats coming out this year; however, if you're a hardcore gamer, you should own a PS3. Fact.
The lineup for 2011 is absolutely stellar.
KZ3, Uncharted 3, inFamous 2, Resistance 3, Last Guardian, Twisted Metal, Motorstorm 3, Journey, ICO Collection.
+ Skyrim, ME3, Batman: AC, Bioshock: Infinite, Battlefield 3, Crysis 2, Bulletstorm.
Jesus Christ.
I thought the demo was really entertaining, obviously it's not a full representation of the game, but if I had to give it a score just based on that I'd give it at LEAST a 9!
ending cutscene is sooo badass btw.
Pachter seems a bit stressed, he could really use some downtime. Maybe play some actual videogames instead of analyzing the numbers behind the sales?
Who really cares?
Stoked about the medic fixes!
Didn't see a "fix" listed, but hopefully that bug where one map is stuck on replay is dealt with.
