Oh God. They streamlined the hell out of that game, and made huge sacrifices to the story and character development. Everything that I loved about the first one seemed to be absent from the second.
The fact that nearly the whole game takes place in the same town really bothered me too. Backtracking? Too much.
See this is what I don't understand, why don't they apply their skills and do something productive like hacking a universally despised company or something?
Yeah, I was pretty disappointed. As soon as i entered the character select screen I could tell something was up (muddiest textures of life).
I agree, Uncharted (for the most part) had realistic characters. Just goes to show that you can be successful without totally conforming to every stereotype.
But then you get games like Bayonetta, DoA, Soul Calibur, MK, Tomb Raider, etc.
I think people are overreacting. Yes, it's unfortunate that PSN has been down for a few days, but investing in a new console/PC? Really?
Holy shit.
@JohnnyMann420
In this case, your definitely right. Using "Sony" as a collective noun, oh please. all those entities he listed off are just functions of the organization as a whole; THE organization (singular). "IS"
Cheeseandrice, it's ENG10 people.
MineCRACK.
One.. MORE... BLOCK.
Wasn't necessarily a letdown; it just didn't stand up to all the hype and expectations it had generated.
I actually traded in BF:BC2 and KZ3 for this :S
I feel they could have easily appealed to both parties, why not just make classic mode a carbon-copy of the previoius titles in the series, while implementing all of the "new" features in the regular mp?
From a graphical standpoint it looks amazing, but something's missing. The whole game just feels unfinishished, and it lacks a certain "polish"
Oh God. Some things cannot be unseen.
Right now, I'm not a fan of IGN OR Crytek.
I'll give CryMoar the benefit of the doubt since it's only a demo; we'll see what happens after the final build is released. :)
PS3 looks sorta washed out with some muddy textures. Blah, little bit disappointed, not a big deal to me, but hopefully these aren't final builds.
Elena - Uncharted
Madison - Heavy Rain
Realistically, I think those two would be my choices, just because they seemed really down to earth.
..and Jack from ME2, because I'm in love with bald tattooed babes.
I think the game *looks* good, but not "great". Doesn't really matter though, for these types of games it all come down to what really matters; the gameplay.
I find it really amusing how much hate this game is getting, it's not half as bad as this "Jon Bitner" makes it out to be.
Patch 1.04 is rolling out soon, and the release list is pretty substantial; nobody's forcing anyone to play this game, go play some CoD.
I clocked so many hours into that game, I found it very rewarding. Looking forward to Dark Souls!
It's almost not even worth buying Capcom's "first edition" games; they've literally released a revamped version of every Crapcom title this gen.
