You can add Bruce Everiss to that little list.
Well, my Facebook friends constantly annoy me with pointless photos of their progress in 'Farmtown' and other FB apps. And these are the people who think console gaming is geeky!! If I must put up with discovering how so-and-so has done in Bejeweled Blitz for the 100th time, why shouldn't I bombard them with all my PS3 trophies?
Text ripped from Wikipedia perhaps? http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
Very funny. Bubble for you.
WipeoutHD?
What you say is true. However, just because all PS3's run the same firmware, it doesn't mean that the firmware can't be coded to work differently on different PS3 SKU's. Any BC contained in future firmware might only activate in new SKU's.
I totally agree with you. The busy-bodies in the UK who like to point fingers often just assume cause-effect to suit their own prejudices.
It could just as easily be that people who like to drive fast go in for Top Gear (if they bother with TV at all) or driving games (if they are gamers) because of this.
Also, it could be some totally external third factor which makes them like to drive fast, watch Top Gear and play Gran Turismo. You know, some factor like WANTING T...
I wonder if this network maintenance has anything to do with the Resistance2 woes of the last 4 weeks or so? The latest R2 patch messed things up quite a bit, and there is a post on the myresistance site which claims that there are PSN issues which Sony need to address (in addition to fixes to Insomniac's servers).
I've had Uncharted freeze on me once. Oblivion has treated me to several freezes.
However, given the complexity of modern games software it always surprises me that these things run as well as they do.
People probably said the same about the motor car. Or the internet. Or home computers.
They have a vision. Only time will tell how this pans out, but they should be given the opportunity to see it through.
Excellent come back. Most of these kind of articles leave out the qualifiers from the headline, just to grab our attention.
"A packet can make an entire round trip in 80 milliseconds".
Mmmm. It would take an unimpeded photon of light 130 milliseconds to go completely around the equator ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... ). Packets on the internet travel much slower since at the very best they'd be travelling as light along fibre optic. I can't see how they can guarantee a constant data transfer at this rate.
I think you are right on the money, there, shadow. Bubble for you.
No news is no news.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was actually being worked on. Not doing something straight away is not the same thing as not taking something on board.
I did notice, today, that it didn't include trophies that I'd synched yesterday evening, until I logged in and clicked the 'Update' button in the portable id section. That's not to say that it wouldn't have included them at some later point. Maybe the portable id's are automatically updated once a day or something?
Well, each to their own. I would expect messaging will follow at some point. Let's hope we don't have to wait too long, because it would be the icing on the cake.
It's beautiful. Wahooooooooooooo.
"Gran Turismo" of shooters". I like that phrase.
Yes, feudal Japan would be a good one to play, IMO.
