Aye to that!!
Because having the console might then prompt them to try other games maybe? It's a LOT easier to justify buying other games like UC2 etc if you already own the damned console!
... of course, sometimes the hype is even true.
Would it kill you to stop sounding so 'needy' for PS3 praise? He liked 'the game'. I liked the game. I lot of us liked the game. ND/Sony liked the revenue from the game. Hey, we're all happy. Except you it seems.
I think the praise for Naughty Dog is kinda implicit. I mean, when saying 'this game is great', you're hardly saying 'so therefore the developer sucks a big one' are you? Besides, he might have praised ND but that bit got edited out for brevity.
Do we have to get so criticial always? The guy praised a PS3 game. That is a good thing. Stop trying to find the 'cloud'.
Well, if you AGREE with mass suicide as a debating tool, then you are twisted too.
Do us a favour and take your vitriol elsewhere.
It doesn't have to be good ... IT'S FREE!!! If you don't like it, don't play it. It didn't cost you anything to start with so get over it.
Look PC gamers, I'm sure most of us will agree that PC's will always do a better job of game graphics than a console. Except that I don't want an ugly , windy, beast of a PC sat in my lounge thank you very much.
Edit: Oh great, now I've gone and put this comment in the wrong place dammit.
Disagreed for irrelevently bringing up the old 'gaming PC' argument.
I'm pretty sure that even Naughty Dog will question UC2's quality since that is how they will make the sequel (if there is one) an improvement over it. Questioning quality is human nature and helped us get from living in caves to our modern lives. Close your mind at your peril.
"I have more games than I can play and too many that needs to be beaten."
You're spot on there blazBlue. I have the same problem. Sony are fulfilling most of my needs ... though I'd like improvements to the PS3's XMB, especially around the messaging. But as far as games are concerned, they are doing fine by me.
I've seen many worse ones than this :)
"PS3 has no games for the rest of 2010"...
Wow! Do you give out lottery numbers too?
You need a new tv
It seems to me that the developers/publishers have wheeled this chap out into 'no man's land' with his pants on his head and told him to shout 'down with the enemy' at the top of his lungs, while they crouch behind their sand-bags and snigger a lot.
Okay. But wouldn't you agree that it isn't the number of hackers that determines the potential in lost sales, but the extent of the hacks they create? One hacker who gains 100% control over the target O/S is more damaging than 10000 hackers who only manage a small incursion. The potential for lost sales is proportional to the extent of the hack, not the number of hackers.
Maybe they are merely turning it off temporarily while they work on plugging the hole?
No, because if they do not do it now, they may lose the ability to do it later as more of their currently-closed O/S is compromised. You close the door before the horse bolts, not after.
That is not a universal rule.
