We've had games that showed 50-90 at least on xbox. Halo was one of them and like the data I linked Forza would've had to move about 400k digitally.

1. If you have a talented studio that simply had to ball on a budget and did vs higher budget studios that struggled I'd go with the cheaper option.

Exactly if a person see a game they love they will always buy it vs rent/sub for it unless ofc they can't afford to spend that kind of money. Subs like gp is for doubters they don't know if they wanna buy, looking for any bundle of games for they low, can't shell out the money to buy. GP also help sell sequels that's why 3rd parties add their games. So ppl that would've never played try it out maybe fall in love with it and end up buying the upcoming sequel.
