Far from failing. It's about making money not consoles sold. Xbox brought in nearly as much money as PS did yet it's getting smacked 2 to 1 in consoles sold. That should tell you everything you need to know about the gaming business.
Agreed to, it's pretty cool to go from playing 4k games on your 65" hdr tv to playing them on the road on my laptop and pretty soon I'll buy Psnow to play the 5 ps exclusives I'm interested in.
Anyone know if psnow still compatible with TV's? I remember they had a app for smart TVs but I think they removed it and now you have to by a stream stick. I'd like to option to play off my tv as well as the laptop

I'm not talking combined console sales I'm talking multiplats on that 1 console alonr sell more than an exclusive usually does. Your comprehension level is so low. Does matter if something was outsold these consoles still sold a ton. And every unique thing can be a reason someone picked it up. 4k Blu-ray player and 4k gaming is why many people picked up the X otherwise it wouldn't have sold period! Nuff said. Why buy a Pro over ps slim or vice versa? They both have the same games....
The only game that ever made me buy a console was Halo. No other game defined, or justified my console. 90+% of my games are multiplats so any exclusive on ps or Xbox is simply a bonus to me. Smash bros nearly made me buy a Nintendo platform but like I said it lacks the 3rd party games so I'd be stupid to waste hundreds of dollars just to play 1 game.

Psnow doesn't have many good games compared to gamepass so it has more but it's mostly shovelware
