I loved it :)
Didn't really mind that it was as linear as 10, it kinda got me going on the story and lore.
Although the kid (can't recall his name) can burn in hell. He was obnoxious as all hell.
With that being said, while I enjoyed 2 and Lightning for what they were, I can only really see myself playing the original again.
Ahhh, Russians
Calling it now: 'Surprise mechanics' are gonna be one of the new Buzzwords alongside Recurrent user spending and User engagement.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with Tifa's design IMO.
I love the way it made me feel during E3, even if it's an action based Jrpg. It still has the atb bars, you still switch between chars, and the standard attacks are linked to maximizing atb gain.
If anything, this remake is evolving in all the right places. I don't need it to be a 20-year old turnbased game, I need it to be Final Fantasy 7
This man is on par with EA's CEO when it comes to PR nonsense, God damn.
Everyone knows that Steam charges like 30% or something, no one is saying that's a good thing.
But what Epic is doing has nothing to do with competition. They trying to drown out other platforms and establish a quasi-monopoly.
Do you also need a tissue for that salt? xD
@Lionsguard Fair enough, I was just giving him what I knew. If it's outdated info though, thanks for clarifying.
Regarding source, I don't usually write down every URL I come across, as I have more pressing matters to waste my time on.
Square Enix pretty much won the floor this year
They already stated that it will be a 3 part story.
A couple years ago Nomura came out and said it during an interview.
Can't recall the source though

Archetypes and stereotypes aren't a bad thing unless people make them a bad thing.
I generalize all the time just for the fun of it.
In these cases I'd wager you're right. Not even a damn issue :)
I have Persian heritage and was raised in Denmark. So I'm pretty used to racial profiling, but honestly, I don't give a damn at this point.
Shallow minded people will have shallow minded perceptions.
However, I also don't need people "fighting my cause", just to look good or trendy.
Lost me at "racial stereotypes". Get your head out of your a**
Winner: Square
They had a consistently good show, with good reveals, a strong start and a strong ending.
MS had Halo which looked awesome. Most of their show wasn't really something you can give them credit for, as a lot of it was just multi-plats from third parties. Nothing wrong with that, but they didn't really bring anything themselves.
Ubisoft had a decent show, but didn't really have any impact outside of Legions.
"journalists" ... There, fixed it for ya ;)
Lol, "upstaged"
These leaks are getting super annoying man. It takes all the joy away from being excited for E3 -_-
Hahaha with their apparent logic it prolly would :P
"Melee combat".... Shows girl running around with Gatling gun.
I think they might be confused :'D
I played violent video games when I was a kid, I love guns... Nothing wrong with that, doesn't mean I'm gonna shoot somebody
The problem is primary stakeholders and top-shelf management IMO. Management is trying to too off their fiscal turnover come a new year.
This basically led to all the dumbass decisions we've seen for the last 3-4 years especially.
The regular employee just follows directions, but the top is the one giving the direct orders to "innovate" the monetization scene and push it in there, harder and harder.
I do think it's a pity though...
