Get your facts straight 2 COD games outsold Skyrim and the 4 behind are pretty close when you consider it didn't take 9 platforms over a decade to sell like Skyrim. Skyrim took NINE platforms PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Series X, PSVR, Switch and PC to get to 30 million. Spiderman on a single platform almost has the same sales.

20 million over 3 generations and NINE platforms isn't that much. That's PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Series X, Nintendo Switch, PSVR and PC. Just to give you context how those sales compare, Spiderman alone moved 20+ million on the PS4 alone.

You're actually missing a key point though. Playstation actually does well in sales of their games, Xbox games don't even come close to the type of sales Playstation get. So Xbox needs the service more than Playstation does. Xbox can afford having many loss leaders as they got bags of money backing their endeavors.

Paying for a service to not own anything isn't 'better'. It's literally the worst. Only thing I can agree in is strive to be better.
