EA will get more sales on PS4 so yeah they will do great. It's not like early access has ever helped EA sell more on Xbone. EA knows their primary sales will still come from their biggest audience which is the PS4. Also PS4 owners also buy more games then their Xbone counterparts.
And again which of those games are you actually playing right now?! You haven't heard of games like Final Fantasy?! Selling more doesn't mean it's good. Those games that don't sell heaps are just as important. Variety is what is selling PS4's.
Destiny helped sell 1 million PS4's in September though, Dragon Age also sold better on PS4. PS fans as you put it are also playing games right now like Bloodborne which sold over 1 million units whereas you are only talking about games for the fall we're playing games well before then. So which is better to you playing games currently or talking about what you get to play 6 months from now?

The advertising is super secretive. We got our marketing early with exact time for us to reveal which literally I have NEVER experienced before with any of my marketing and I have been doing marketing switch overs each week for 7 years.
Wait till you see the marketing. This is more marketing than even Destiny and if you recall Sony sold over 1 million units during the month that released and destroyed Xbone sales.

Did good reviews or lack of exclusives increase sales for niche games like Sunset Overdrive or Scream Ride? You seem to think it's just easy to sell this type of game. Like the article states it is multifaceted. Otherwise by your simplistic way of thinking SSO through Christmas with a bunch of advertising and 5 month gap without exclusives should have sold due to high reviews alone, yet hasn't even moved 1 million yet with Chritmas and 6 months on the market.

No kidding. SWTOR was ranked 8th on microtransactions last year and made $180 million so it would have been shocking to see it come down.

Currently there has been Toukidan, Order 1886, Bloodborne, Guilty Gear Xrd, MLB 15 and a dozen more 1st/3rd party games dated before the fall, whereas Xbone has had Scream ride since November?! Of course it's not a lost cause. But I can tell you I have gone through a couple pallets worth of PS4's since February alone, whereas I have not cleared my stock from Christmas for my Xbones.
Also customers aren't waiting to buy PS4's they're actually coming in to purchase them immediately. Whereas regardless of the ridiculous promotions we've been offering on Xbone has barely moved any units at all.

It's already beat out Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive which had a full Christmas and been on the market for 5-6 months and it only took 3 weeks. So I would say it's doing pretty well. It will get it's 2-3 million by year's end and on 1 system only.
They announced the date for Halo already and it didn't have an affect on sales. In face the Master chief Bundle saw and increased sales. But regardless my PS4 sales in my store have been steady and outselling Xbone by a large margin. I really only see Xbone winning some sales around fall heading into Christmas. Xbone won't beat PS4 sales though.

I actually work at an EB Games and we're onto our 5th Xbox promotion in 4 months. We have only had 1 PS4 sale since it launched. Even with $100 difference and giving an extra $50 Live card our PS4 sales still destroyed Xbone sales.
Trade promotions we have had for both, usually simultaneously. But straight up sales have almost been exclusively Xbone only. So yes they are getting desperate.
