Except the Xbox One launch was pretty good. They sold a million at launch and just couldn't keep momentum going. You know what would have helped keep the momentum up? Games.
Exactly it's all about the games and delivery. Xbox fans say they got the studios now. Okay. Show us the games then. The rest is just talk, time to deliver. No one cares how many active users you have, number of zombies killed or the amount of miles driven in your games.

Xbox dropping by half from the previous generation is pretty cut an dry. So yeah it's a pretty big failure either way you slice it. The lost mindshare is incredible as well to be outsold by Nintendo in only 3 years is nothing short of astonishing.

Last I checked Xbox One and Xbox 360 both launched with exclusives. Same can be said about the Switch, PS3 and PS4. No one is 'forcing' anyone to do anything. It's more like an incentive to jump in early
