exactly. everybody already has at least 1 dvd player. hell i've got 5 if you count the 360, ps3, xbox and ps2. my freaking 85 year old grandmother has a dvd player. how many people can honestly say they know someone, anyone who doesn't have a dvd player?
agreed. 6 on a sword type in lone wolves will be a blast. as soon as my COD4 addiction fades i'll be back into halo, which should be in about, oh, 6 months. but at least i know there'll always be a ton of people playing halo so the online won't dry up.
yep, they did. i am starting to become convinced that "framerate issues" are a state-of-mind made-up problem that review sites like to toss around because it sounds advanced. ign said that the ps3 framerate stuttered noticably, so basically just buy the game on the system of your choice as they are pretty much the exact same.
i actually liked the ridiculously short demo for the 360 (almost the same length as heavenly sword demo). as soon as this game becomes 19.99, which will probably happen pretty freaking quickly, i'll pick it up.
wow, a topic that seems to be bringing together both sides. today's lesson: people are stupid and sue-happy.
my god, i couldn't care any less about this ridiculous format war. neither are going to go away, and neither are going to pass standard dvd's for a long, long time.
in theory, i definitely agree. but i'll wait until i buy it and play through it to come to a conclusion. there's no way i'm not getting this game though. i absolutely can't wait.
while i enjoy the fact that i can play warhawk on psn for free, i must say that i love live and have absolutely no problem paying $50/year for the service. i do think it's nearly time they offered it for free, what with the money being made off of micro-transactions, but if they keep it at $50/year i will still subscribe every year when my subscription is due.
and a 92 on metacritic after 6 reviews, so it just boils down to personal opinion as to whether it's overhyped or not.
you've basically copied and pasted this lame post in a couple different threads, so i have to ask, are you trying to knock the game, the 360, both, or are you just lying?
i'm voting lying.
ubi has already convinced me to part with my money for this game, without a doubt. i'm fine with mixed reviews, because all the things that have been knocked about it are things that don't bother me. all games are repetitive if you break it down, so i don't much care about th...
they're not fake. they may not be completely accurate and i'm sure the numbers will change slightly for the ndp charts, but it's not fake. although i can see why some fanboys might hope they were.
there should really be a "not official until confirmed with NDP numbers" on all vgchartz articles, just to stop the countless posts forethcoming about the validity of VG.
i'll wait until the ndp, but if these numbers are close, good for the 360 and i can't believe they sold over a 1/4 of a million copies of GH3 for the ps2. not that it's bad or the ps2 is out or anything, and i know there are about a billion ps2's out there, but still.
the original article was dumb enough, but somehow you managed to top it. well done.
that is freaking awesome.
pretty much no chance of that. but it is going to be great. can't wait to get it. just don't know where the time is coming to play uncharted/cod4/assassin's/mass effect. don't even start on rock band or mario galaxy either. good god.
you're joking, right?
it's getting overlooked by everyone pretty much. there are a few previews on different sites but honestly, and it sucks because the game looks good, games like cod4, mass effect, rock band, and assassins creed have so much more notoriety among the gaming sites and seemingly those gamers that aren't quite casual, but not quite hardcore. i'm hoping uncharted does great, but i'm expecting it to do far less then any of the other november releases.
i'll be buying it though, without a doub...
seems like developers are having no problems with development of PS3 games when they build from the ground up on the actual system. so far it has seemed like all the "problems" have been when porting 360 code over to the ps3, with a few exceptions of course.
hopefully companies will take the hint and develop ps3 and 360 versions of games independently on each system, so that we can have identical looking games on whichever system we choose. well done infinity ward. ...
if it's just going to be a spike in sales for a couple weeks, and then HD-DVD will go back to getting killed by BR, it makes me wonder.....
we are seeing pretty much the exact same thing with the 360 vs the ps3 in terms of sales. spikes due to price manipulations, then back to the pre-price drop numbers. so why are sony fanboys thinking that the ps3 is different then HD-DVD?
not trying to troll, i just love it when fans on both sides use arguments to support t...
unfortunately for sony, it doesn't seem like kicking ass overseas makes up for the 100k behind they are in NA. the european vgchartz have the ps3 ahead by about 18k. add in asia and the 360 is seemingly still ahead by a decent clip worldwide.
