Anyone that cites Kinect as a reason for MS delaying their next system is extremely naive. Kinect is a plug to stop the bleeding in the uptake of the 360 while they ensure the new system is reliable before release.
The fact that MS have abandoned their userbase again and have no exclusive games means only one thing......their focus is on launch games for the new system. All the suckers who bought Kinect have been sold a scam.

I agree mostly, but lets see what MS do in a year or two when the next console hits the market. My feeling is 360 will be dead from their point of view. I really think it is already happening and Kinect is a stop gap measure while they finalise the new hardware.
Your comment has no context because it doesn't take into account a timeframe. PS2 took 11 years, wii took 5, xbox was 4, 360 is 5, ps3 is 4, ds is 7.
The industry successes are PS2 and DS, everyone made money off them. Wii just makes Nintendo money, PS3 will finish over 100 million and the 360 is having an indian summer.
The only real disasters have been gamecube and xbox. Mostly xbox though as it left MS results full of red ink.
The flood gates will really open this year. As much as the xbox fanboys don't want to admit it, people that enjoy real games and only own an xbox will switch to PS3 this year.
How can any self respecting gamer suffer the MS focus on Kinect this year. To me, this is akin to their abandonment of the userbase at the end of the last generation. Shame on you MS.
It means MS has no real games and they have to grab hold of anything they can to generate some interest for real gamers. Everyone at MS is in Kinect mode for 2011.
Good review. I have only played me2 on ps3 and am very impressed. You are right about the comic though, pretty useless. Would like a 360 but I barely have time for the ps3 so it would be a waste.

MS was always going to win that market. American consumers always buy cheap junk, sorry but that is just fact. Look at the cars they buy, the highest selling vehicle was the Camry or f150 I think.
Sony has made much bigger strides this gen than some of you high schools kids understand. It is not just about 360 vs ps3, its about playstation vs xbox and that contest has many generations yet to run. Nintendo are hit and miss, but surely not to be underestima...
I love Sony and the playstation brand but it is hard to top this game. I wont play it anymore though, I like to remember it for being great in 98 and not compared to modern games.
Halo is only slightly overated, COD died after modern warfare.
