Yes. Kinect is what is driving these sales and once that product is exposed for the rubbish it is things will return to normal. That is, xbox reigns supreme in America but that is not enough to offset the dent Sony puts in everywhere else.
Also, most 360 kids are gonna get jack of all the kinect focus this year and switch to a system that services real gamers, not pensioners, middle aged woman and babies.

In summary.....MS has one good exclusive this year and Sony has more than they could make a true comparison list with.
Both games averaged around 8.5, so I would say that fits with what I said earlier. No doubt both of these games received pumped up scores. Alan Wake should have been a 7 - 7.5 and Fable 3 mid 6 to 7 imo. Thats what they would have gotten on ps3.
Sony doesnt buy exclusives, or lavish gifts and holidays on reviewers. That is the way they do business.
Look at the two biggest contributors to advertising revenue for gaming websites and magazines....MS and Activision. These so called journalists think they have struck gold and have delusions of grandeur when they are being wisked away for 5 star treatment by these companies that they would be willing to say their game is the second coming rather than lose all that.

Call me paranoid, but there is and has been something fishy going on for a few years now. I think MS is behind alot of it due to the fact that they pump so much money into advertising and marketing.
It makes me laugh how critics (amateur and paid) try to make out the developers were aiming for an academy award with this game. Yes the plot had holes, but that is what enabled the game to remain interesting for the duration.
Even the best movies have inconsistancies, try breaking down Inception and you find holes too.
I personally enjoyed this game and would have given it an 8+. It was worth playing for the production values alone.

Wow! So many in denial here. The facts of this gen are that the ps3 and 360 are pretty much on level terms as far as sales go, a couple of million plus or minus when you are close to 50 mil doesnt mark a clear winner. Maybe if one was 70 and the other 55 then you could award 2nd place.

When I first played 2 I thought yes, even though I loved the first one. However, I am nearly complete on my second playthrough a year after the first and think it is superb. One of the 5 best games this gen.
