You make fun of his intelligence yet you don't even know how to reply to a post properly.
The irony is just... overwhelming.
I wasn't ever a Sega fan (The only console I own of theirs is the Dreamcast, and I didn't get it until well after it died) but I can now acknowledge what they did for the industry. While it was a failure, they had a CD-based addon on the Genesis well before Sony proposed the same thing for the SNES. So Sony was NOT the first one to use CDs in a console, nor were they first to use it as the primary format on their console (3DO, CD-i). But they were the first to use it successfully. ...
Eh, Assassin's Creed deserves some of it's hate but not quite as much as it gets. Like... it was repetitive sure, but all the main assassinations were unique and a lot of fun to pull off. The assassinations in the original, all in all, were much, much better than the sequel's. Plus you got that awesome music when you are running.
Eh, I've seen it twice - once with the family in 2D and once with a friend in 3D. The 3D added nothing at all, it only gave me a headache (Which Dragon did not do).
Hey guess what, Metal Gear Solid 3 is gonna be on this console AND it's gonna look better than it's PS2 version!
You go have fun spending $2000 on a TV just to use 3D for your PS3. I'll be over here watching Avatar and How to Train Your Dragon on my 3DS, while playing Metal Gear Solid and Kingdom Hearts.
It's the first in the series, chronologically. Also many people consider it to be the best (Such as myself).
Making a prequel that stands on it's own isn't the easiest thing. Almost every time it's just to set up something in a future installment, but I didn't get that from MGS3. It was just there to tell a story that needed to be told.
I guess to you Metal Gear Solid 3 is kiddie, then.
Well that's a relief. I don't think I'm going to be rushing to buy a 3DTV any time soon, but the 3DS is absolutely a first day buy. Right now I'm honestly not that sold on 3D yet (Buying the 3DS for the games), the movies I've seen with it aren't impressive (Missed Avatar). Hopefully the 3DS and some other games that Sony has in the pipeline will sway me over. A 3D Jak or Ratchet and Clank would likely show off the feature better, at least for me.
I don't know why Sony would be hatin on the 3DS, considering there's quite a high possibility that 3DS owners might end up expanding the audience that owns 3DTVs. If they buy a relatively cheap product (Compared to the TV) they may want to try the obvious evolution, being a more powerful console that uses more advanced tech.
Well granted I love my iPod Touch a lot and play games on it now and then...
but the 3DS is an instant day one buy. I worry for my wallet (and my brother's) that day, as we are both buying a 3DS and numerous games. If Star Fox, Ocarina, Mario Kart, Paper Mario, Layton, Metal Gear, and Kingdom Hearts are somehow all day 1... I'm gonna one broke gamer.
Look I love Jak 3 as much as the next guy but it is in no way as good as Ocarina of Time. Let's try actually playing some games from before the last generation, shall we?
This is you, Benjamin_Franklin:
"OMG GRAPHICS ARE THE BEST THINGS EVER! IF IT LOOKS GOOD IT MUST BE AMAZING!"
And that is why I worry for the bullshit games that developers get away with making these days. Hey buddy, tell me when Killzone 2 actually learns to you know - get a PLOT. Instead, we are stuck with some generic cliche of a character shouting F-Bombs at me all night.
I guess you won't be responding to this until the m...
Well Sony has my money if Ape Escape 4 turns out to be even remotely decent. Hopefully someone will have Move a bit cheaper for black friday though.
SOCOM 4, God of War 3, Killzone 3, Twisted Metal 6...
Geez, Sony fans sure do love their sequels... almost as much as Nintendo ones! Who would have thought?
They're the most innovative because they are bringing 3D to a skeptical audience that does not want to have to wear glasses whenever they look at at TV or movie screen.
Have you even considered the fact that 3DS players might move on and buy a 3D TV and then buy a PS3 to enjoy said 3D TV?
Go play Donkey Kong Country 2, see if you can beat K. Rool on the final level without taking a hit as Diddy.
Sure I can, but that's because I'm a platformer lover. I can't stand people idolizing Sony just because they showed Shooter-series 3, Shooter-series 4, or Racing-game 5. Graphics do NOT make the game. If I wanted good graphics I would, I don't know, go OUTSIDE?
I'll give LittleBigPlanet 2 the credit it deserves. The first traile...
It's brand new hardware not "another DS system". Another DS system would have the same specs, just a redesign of it's looks.
Nevermind the fact that nearly all of Sony's games were announced early (LBP2, Killzone 3, Motorstorm, InFamous 2, even Twisted Metal by Pachter). Also nevermind the fact that they are marketing 3D to a ludicrously niche market. Blu-Ray is one thing, but how many people are going to dump $2000 on a 3D TV when more and more peopl...
No Dormammu and Mr Fantastic make this list fake. Dorm was in the trailer, Fantastic Four was said an interview to be absent in this game.
Also no Mega Man.
This list being fake still gives me a glimmer of hope for a Phoenix Wright appearance.
I'm betting $200, or $249. Will pay either, might pay higher.
Ocarina of Time, Paper Mario, Metal Gear 3, Layton, and Star Fox? AMAZING!!
Not a whole lot we haven't seen. Reggie did just confirm that 3DS is 2011, and won't be out for Christmas though.
