I hope this time for the third entry they stick to the original roots so the game doesn't go thru the BRUTAL consolification process of the second one >.>
I am playing it right now and if you like FPS with a mix of RPG you are gonna love it while I hope they fix some of the rough edges of the PC version I hope they dont dumbed down the game for the console since some of hard stuff (like realistic shooting) was the best part and if they bring it intact to the 360 don't complain about the difficulty level just play it and learn
the only thing I am pretty sure they are gonna change is the inventory in which they are probably gonna p...
If you like FPS I highly recommend you this one, I got it a little skeptical due to the mix reviews but ended up having a blast of fun :D
Thanks bubbles back at you :)
I think want hurt Bioshock for GOTY was the avalanche of other great games released after it if maybe it had be released later it will still be fresh in the collective memory
I disagree with the short the game is one of the few next gen shooters to actually be long it took me 18 hours (thanks to Xfire for the time) to beat it in a good pace in normal difficulty with out repeating or spending too much time in certain task (you can thank the game for being EASY as hell)
...
Lets see as far as I have seen in trends of "importance" and "popularity" here it goes (the percentage indicates the amount of sites/mags the particular game is gonna win GOTY)
For the 360 we are between: Halo 3, Mass Effect, and Bioshock
Most probable winner: Most sites will give it to Halo 3 (60%), followed by Bioshock (20%) and Mass Effect (20%)
For the PS3 we are between: Uncharted, Ratchet, Heavenly Sword and Warhawk

Please Bethesda...PLEASE don't ruin Fallout 3, that is my only Christmas wish...and its going to be my New years...and my Birthdays too :P
But really PLEASE Bethesda don't ruin it T.T
Ok I am gonna explain it to you, originally people thought that a modified firmware was detected by MS and BAMM banned, later people discovered that it was MS thru the DVD driver detected what kind of game were you playing basically detecting if you were playing a game right now but the disc was a DVD-/+r which is NOT suppose to be happening also according to some people it doe not happened automatically but it has to detect you several times that is why there are people with mod consoles who...
Dude you actually remember Boiling Point WOW! you REALLY know your games XD
I remember it as the most bug infested game I have EVER played
It could be Mass Effect only then, for example I have constant "disc unreadable" with Dead Rising but not with other games
and the thing I was referring that people should be careful was that when my 2nd 360 died it started with freezing problems with the Guitar hero 3 demo that could have lead to me thinking its GH3 related but later all my other games started freezing and finally the next day my 360 got the RROD >.>
@Douchebaggery: what problems are you having? is it only Mass Effect related?
Dude its gonna be a LONG time before people stop using the "PS3 has no games" card cuz that is the only real card they have left to downplay the PS3 (and if you take that from fanboys and bashers...what do they have left it would be chaos!), remember how before it was the "$600" card but strangely you really didn't read that much about "it has no games" now ironically its cheaper and has more games...but just recently "it has no games"
sa...
Interesting enough some of the people posting in this Bioware thread don't seem to have a direct problem with Mass Effect but rather a 360 that is about to die as showed by the comments about constant freezing in ALL games (same thing that happened to my 2nd 360 before getting a RROD) and how all the clear cache and try playing without HDD does not help >.>
But every one that knows Bioware knows that their latest games all of them require a lot of patching like KOTOR 1 an...
Well I wont comment on Splinter Cell since I have never played one so I don't know what to expect or be disappoint in, but in DMC4 they could potentially suffer a backlash in what I call "the MGS2 new character effect" and "old formula new looks" since introducing a different character to lead in an old classic series is always VERY risky and since people don't like change as seen in MGS2 this might clearly backlash to the fans also the other things is that it seem Capcom ...
LOL I remember when On the Spot showed the trailer every one was like "Well that is The Club a game about...something I guess" and when all of the ask each other what the hell was the game about...no one knew and there was a horrible silence XD
WOW O.O that is super sweet :D
Once the game gets a few patches I will buy it but right now I am too busy with the crapload of 360 and PC games I just ordered :P
But for how things turn out for Hellgate it looks like Titan Quest is still king of the Diablo 2 formula :D
I finished TimeShift the other week, if you like FPS I recommend you this game and remember the demo is one of those cases that might give you the wrong impression (if you liked it well that is good too :P) since the first episode (the city) is rather generic for a FPS BUT after that EVERYTHING just keeps getting better and better :D
Looks pretty sweet :D
But I am still ok with my Slim Line STAR :P
Its interesting to see how being R rated it got all that money since the last Hollywood "analysts" (or whatever) said that R rated movies (specially horror) in terms of profits are being left behind by more "family friendly" movies one (see Pixar) of the main examples given is how Hostels 2 profits were WAY bellow what people expected specially compared to other non R movies did around that period
you can also see Die Hard 4 as an example on studios that tak...
