I think if we consider recent releases and soon to be released titles plus its new functionality and design the PSP wins as the Handheld of choice for this holiday

By the comments he made about Black Site Area 51 he seemed to be very angry and/or frustrated at Midway for forcing him to release an unfinished game >.> (remember, from alpha testing to retail and only 4 days to find bugs)

@Rooted_Dust: If you don't have a very tight budget I recommend you getting the new 8800GTS 512MB over the 8800GT 512mb (the new GTS is the same if not faster that the current GTX)
IF you are wondering about waiting or getting the new 9 series remember that the might launch the same way as the 8 series launching the SUPER high end (like they did with the 8800GTX) at a absurd price and later the midrange and so on

While I still think the whole Kane and Lynch thing was the main contributor one thing that this article mentions about about his review is VERY true, if you are a GS regular you will know that theirs been a LOT of complains about his reviews specially since the last Zelda one so yes...I do believe they might have also used that to fire him

I think in the case of GS things are worse but at same time more obvious, for example in the majority of gaming sites you see adds of some sort but are usually "small" and you know they are just well..adds..BUT THEN you see GS where for adds they use the WHOLE F-CKING background of the site and you even have a sh!t load of "features" about certain games like in this case there was this Kane and Lynch trailer mixer thingy or the "meet the makers of Kane and Lynch"...
I can bet you my Bionic Implants (quote from Zero Punctuation :P) that they will damage control on this tomorrow saying he had to leave to do "other stuff" or for "personal reasons"...which makes me question about the TRUE nature of Richards departure since he left for "personal motives" and was VERY unexpected >.>

While I think its possible in the future (HUGE emphasis on FUTURE) I still don't think its gonna become "mainstream" for another 5-10 more years when apart from everyone having internet access its actually fast and cheap since as HD grows its also WAY more heavy to download
and still people feel more comfortable with tangible disc than digital "discs", while I think downloading will become more popular it will probably never replace physical discs
@Kleptic: if you mean saving as in "lets just remake System Shock 2 with better graphics, less depth and lets hope people wont notice" kind of saving?
