@justin the Xbox 360 won the most important territories that make the most revenue. That’s why Xbox 360 had all the major marketing deals. I don’t think that’s why, they sold more globally because PlayStation has a stronger loyal fan base worldwide fan base because it’s been around longer.
Xbox 360 was the popular console of choice whether it was celebrities, youtubers etc. The 360 was the go to console in the US and UK (the most important territories) but Sony’s brand loyalty in Asia etc. Meant it just edged overall sales worldwide but Xbox 360 had the most important market and for good reason it was a fantastic console.
Sony has done cross buy but Smart Delivery is a different thing, if people own the same game across both Xbox One, or Xbox One X or Xbox Series X it will know what system you’re playing on at that time and play that version of the game. It’s easy to misunderstand but if you research it you’ll see why Microsoft have coined it Smart Delivery and not just called it cross buy
I think that buzz speaks more of how starved ps fans are of any info more than anything else, Sony's coyness is a worrying sign

I think there’s some misunderstanding. You won't be playing the Xbox One version of Valhalla through backward compatibility on Xbox Series X – your single purchase will get you the version of the game meant for the console you're playing it on. Publishers often are against this as it means they lose the chance to resell a game on a new console but Microsoft are pushing it

PlayStation really need to start being clearer if they’re going to offer a solution like Smart Delivery for PS5 or not
The fact they’ve neglected to even acknowledge it has made people even more frustrated, I normally play at least one game every night with my squad so I hope they fix it soon
