I'm really looking forward to see the map in action on the PC side. They did have a 3 day head start, as well as having up to 32 player servers.
Edit: Counter started at the same time for all platforms.
Jensen Ackles and Joe Flanigan are my picks over Fillion as well.
If you remember during one of their Killzone 3 presentations, there was a concept art of what looked like an older style ship amongst waves. So that may play a role in this new IP as well. I tried look for the image in a video to link here but was unable to find it. It was at GDC 2010 if I recall.
Destructible environments, magic, and guns? Sounds pretty interesting. You know it'll look goddamn good.
FUCK ME, the detail on the MAWLR is mind-blowing. Even though I think the demo (when it comes out) will be the E3 snow level, they'd make a lot of new fans if they allowed us to play that boss fight instead. One can hope.
Vietnam!
Though I love Captain Mal, I can understand if they choose to cast someone else, however I am not okay with it being Marky Mark. I'm not sure what the directors thing is working with Mark for most of his movies, but there are better alternatives out there.
Games as both inspiration for film, and an expressive medium itself won't be taken seriously outside the gaming community if our favorite franchises continue to just supply brand recognition, and no artistic merit themselves...
Second half of 2011 is just mind-numbingly overwhelming. I've been waiting for BF3 for a long time, but with all those games coming out, how can we all find time...
It's nice to see the expansion get the score the full game deserved, 8.9 my fucking ballsack IGN.
That one will almost definitely get updated. No worries.
Alan Wake was a great game in many ways, but in just as many ways as it was great it was flawed. Repetitive environments, no evolution or change in structure of gameplay, and ultimately an unfulfilling ending due to make room for DLC. But, there is no doubt that games like Alan Wake and Heavy Rain are precursors to future genres. No one stays 19 forever, and there needs to be a genre for those who don't want to get yelled at by 13yo's on CoD.
I don't think that gif is representative of what you can actually do in-game. From the camera angle, it seems to be one of those quick cinematics found in U2. For example, a platform breaking below you, or the chopper shooting out that broken bridge structure. It would be nice if they did add destructible environments, but I just don't see that happening.
I wanted multiplayer, in the sense of survival co-op mode. NOT competitive multiplayer.
God fucking damnit... This has ruined my day. Mark Wahlberg, you fucking serious? Nathan drake is supposed to be funny and charming not a fucking douchebag.
GODDAMNIT MARK, SAY HI TO YOUR MOTHER FOR ME
I'd say its somewhat unlikely. Map pack 7 isn't even out. Just a week for four brand new maps, being the first ever new content, followed by even more new content?
They just released a PS3 patch today saying it was preparing the servers for Vietnam and Map Pack 7. If I had to guess, we wont be seeing Vietnam until Mid-Late December.
Then again, I could be totally wrong, this is coming from the same people who waited almost 10 months before giving out new content. XD ...
I think not, dev kits don't usually look anything like the console/device itself. They are more like a computer with certain specifications.
I call fake.
Nice catch, FPS***
Love Bioware, they make brilliant games. I just hope this isn't another modern war FPS shooter.
His armor does look futuristic though. New IPs from great developers are always welcome.
This show is a giant advertisement for game companies, and related corporations. It has gotten somewhat better since the first few award ceremonies. My personal favorite is RDR, Bad Company, as well as Far Away - By Jose Gonzales. That moment in that game was great.
Its a shame they wont be taking other games like GT5, Bad Company 2: Vietnam, Dead Nation, and others into consideration.
In 2003 their GoTY was Madden. Just FYI. AWARDZ R SERIUZ BUIZNESS11!1
Seems like a pretty good number, in BC2 it was ~50 hrs to unlock everything, and very little motivation to continue leveling up. Same thing with Killzone (in fact KZ2 was a lot less), and sorta the same thing with Uncharted 2, (the higher level boosters weren't that great).
I usually put ~100/~150 hrs into my MP games, so this is right up my alley.
Ah really? Did not know that. I always find myself chasing people spamming select just to get them to drop ammo.
