There's some gameplay footage from E3 (if you're wondering).
What kind of stupid statement is that?
Competition is always a threat, they fill in areas one ignores and then wrestles over the similarities.
Power might not win people over, but it appeals. And appeal is a threat.
Well said.
Stop it Sony.
Stop being so darn good with giving us games.
Ugh, stop making FPS's. <- see, sounds silly.
It's becoming a genre, so either ignore it or embrace it.
Clearly despite the games faults, people do enjoy the characters/universe.
It doesn't make them, or mean, that they are morons.
"Do you like toast? So do we. Now, through our collaboration with the Toast Makers, you can enjoy toast like never before. Slay dragons with toast. Punch people in the face with toast. Coming September 3rd, Skyrim, Toast Edition."
Let's just check in with Sony's site, see if they think they had the best conference.
*Pauses*
They said they've won.
I also heard someone who works at Nintendo, saying Nintendo is king.
Also saw someone muttering in the corner that Ubisoft is the ultimate redeemer. EA was kind of staring... Bethesda sort of got lost in the dark.
e3 2017, the year soon to be forgotten.
Skyrim has 5 more versions before there's a 6th instalment.
Time changes opinion. It's been a few years now and I don't have a need (personally) for BC, as much as I used to. That said, BC would be nice (I mean, options are great).
Whatever their reason, or stance, it needs to change for the next generation. Otherwise I'll gladly stay on my ps4 and shrug at the new gen.
Yes, I own many of them. I'm not questioning Sony's commitment to releasing games, they do that superbly. What they are slowing down in, is the way they go about revealing them (this years e3 was different) and their stance on cross-platform gaming / backwards (for those who care - I don't).
All it takes are a few differences, a few choices of dragging the feet towards change, and that's where competitors strike. Nintendo and Microsoft are coming at the gami...
Wonderfully said.
Of power, that's about it.
In retrospect to what exactly? Games? All platforms should have them so... it's about time Nintendo got their first party power back in line. As for Microsoft, they boast about power while offering games that can be played on multiple platforms. Power is nice, but that won't put you in first place if the exclusives don't exist (besides their trio).
I believe a more accurate statement would be that Nintendo has finally begun to wake up, and Microsoft is flexing ...
That's a long analogy, but yes, you are right in a sense. Though I see it as, the kitchen is the same, just a different cook. So my scepticism in the quality of the food, since the establishment gave me a poor dish the last time, is justified. Do I think all the cooks in the kitchen are bad? No. Do I think the chances of my next meal not being all that great, exist? Yes, it's possible, under the same management.
Good cooks can still cut corners and make mistakes whe...
I do wish Sony would be open to cross platform play, heck it would seriously bridge one of the main divides, that being friends on different consoles. But, I imagine there's a cost involved, and Sony as of now is thinking that cross platform doesn't benefit them financially.
Times do change however, and I'll be surprised if Sony doesn't change their position within the next few years.
While the game looks good, I know looks are often deceiving in light of recent years. And after what became of Andromeda (B Team, A Team, doesn't matter) I'm not as trustworthy, or am willing to put my hopes towards, a title with Bioware attached to it.
Anthem will have to be flawless, for me to regard them highly again.
This is my most anticipated game of 2018 - so far. (always a fan of choices swaying outcomes).
... Some people will find anything to complain about. Sony's conference was good. This year has been stacked with releases, and now we know (saw more) of the games coming out in 2018. While it's a shame there were no surprises, I think some people mistook the excitement of the past two years, as a permanent trend (in that, there's crazy announcements). If they had shown games we wouldn't get for a few years, people would complain about that too, as they have been up until now....
Oh my god... Can you possibly whine anymore?
